To /co/ fans and management, all I can say for my actions is I chased for a win instead of a draw. Maybe I should of tried something safer after drawing 3-3, but I didn't. I wanted a win, and any other manager would have gone for that win too. Maybe I should of done it in a better safer way or something, but what I chose to do at the time I stick with cause lack of sleep is bad and this fetus went too damn long anyway. I dunno, use me as a scapegoat if ya like if it helps ya sleep at night.


To what ever /y/ fans that will remain after that horrid campaign, I got no words. Being an idiot with testing shit on the wrong version of pes didn't help at all. I tried to stay true with the vision of doing something else with /y/, a team that was entertaining to watch while also successful, without carbon copying other teams. Sadly, to much success was sacrificed to help with the entertainment value. With /y/ now being pretty much the worst alive team, The large outrage has been heard as well as the small amount of praise that's been whispered. Drastic changes will occur sometime soonish with a further announcement. But for now I think its a good idea to wait til stuff has cooled down.

There's stuff you can pass of as being bad ideas (Gold Defender in general). Then there's moving everyone out of position for a 7 niggas forward when your current formation had JUST made it 3-3 (or had just let the 4-3 go in) after scoring 2. He probably would have been happy to help, in fact he tried to today, but unfortunately with the issues we had with aesthetics and the timing of it all meant that it really was a "do whatever it takes right now to get the games on" situation. If we had half an hour up our sleeve then he probably could have taken it on, but the fact of the matter was that we didn't. AFAIK I was the only one who had a working copy of PES with all 4cc settings (mostly) set (had to turn off ET/PKs and set auto-sliding for p2) _and_ a mostly-working copy of the aesthetics. Either I took over or we delay for even longer getting paval set up (which, trust me, would have taken some time).

I should take this time to apologize for not being at the ready like I should have been earlier today. Hey fellas, I am so sorry about not being able to host today. I had been the past month looking forward to it. I guess Murphy's Law was not a meme, it's been a crazy 2 weeks for me. I should have played it safe and not risked the power outage that Matthew ultimately brought. I admit I got selfish about wanting to host an official event and after my power being solid for a full 4 hours and the wall of the hurricane passing, I figured I was clear weather wise.
