Exceptionally easy, you download the ROM + some other files, shove them on your SD card, then visit a website via the Wii U browser and you get taken to a menu where you can play the ROMs. Provided you don't update higher than 5.5.1 or w/e the latest one is right now, you're good to go. Keep in mind Wii U forces updates so follow the billion guides out there that show you how to block updates. Only downside is the lack of online play but for BotW that isn't important.

They would need to at least install A9LH or EmuNAND to have NAND-dumping access. Alternatively standard homebrew + braindump or another userland game dumping tool would work and would be far easier and more realistic. We'd have to assume those consoles would be on the latest firmware so you'd need some sort of exploitable game and downgrading for A9LH/EmuNAND is probably going to be difficult or out of the question so userland homebrew is probs the best route.

I updated to 11.1, as far as BootNTR goes do I just install the CIA? Older versions needed a separate ntr.bin file, but I'm not seeing anything about what to do with that.

Question:

Since someone posted links to the JP version of Senran Estival (with the update/DLC too), is it possible to put the English script on it using the US/EU files, or adding the necessary JP files to the US/EU versions to play as the Ikkitousen girls?

I'd give it a try myself, but it appears that the file structure is different. The JP VPK has Chunk17 to Chunk32 in its "tpk" folder (where all the assets and shit are stored), while the US/EU versions have Chunk00 to Chunk05 in the base game and Chunk22 to Chunk32 in their updates. In other words, the JP version doesn't have 00-05, and the US/EU versions don't have 17-21.

How do I extract a file on the Vita? I had to zip them and rename them to mp4s to transfer them over. If i run as a vpk it will try to install it won't it?

I've never opened the back of the N3DS, and it still has the default 4gb memory SD. I'm trying to install some games (legally) but i'm out of room and i'd like to get a bigger card.

I have a micro SDHC 32 gb with an adapter, will it work or do I need a regular SD card?

The OTP is built into your 3DS and unique to it. The hash of the OTP is used to encrypt a modded keystore that a9lh uses to boot.

There's actually pretty huge differences in the contents, and just putting the EN tpk files in the JP dump just causes the game to crash.

Extract QuickBMS.zip (http://hnng.moe/f/If5 ) to the folder with all the tpk files, and run ExtractAllInFolder.bat

Make the changes you're testing, then run RepackAllInFolder.bat
If a file you're trying to replace is bigger than the original, forcing it will probably fuck it up.

I don't know about the first release, but it's supported installing games directly since at least the second. The reason why people convert mai dumps is because they either don't know how to use it, or they have an easier time transferring files through FTP when it's just one package.

All ARM9 reads will have to be redirected through the ARM7 (GBA back-compat CPU) which means it'll bottleneck massively and slow down the whole system. Overclocking may not help much because only the ARM9 can be overclocked.

DLDI homebrews have finally started working. Compare how Moonshell runs from SD and from a flashcart and you'll see exactly what I mean.

It's nice to have, but it's no Nintendont. A flashcart will remain the superior choice, and now that they're all functional with overclocking there's not really an excuse.

We all use maidumptool, the chinaman's tool. It's used to dump and install games; maidumps that have been converted to .vpk are bad. HENkaku online autoupdates, the offline launcher bubble must be run to update that.

So I tried converting Elite Beat Agents and some other DS roms so I can play them on my WiiU.
Converted using Nin-jecter, then named the folder with the title ID but when I try to run it the Loadiine doesnt start the game. Am I missing something?
