Sure, i loved the game too despite the gamebreaking bugs and cartoonish evil red path.
Its really hard to explain properly without nitpicking single dialogues that i honestly dont remember but here i go.
The atmosphere and the music is great, no complains there, spot on, but often when you speak with people they often say things that feel extremely western. Its nothing different from the usual bioware script, but it felt out of place in that context. Sky and silk fox to a degree felt off to me, for example. Old china was a place where Mulan had to unbend her broken feet to go to war only to end up being a housewife to some state official, whilst having no problems about it. Everyone is also surprisingly detatched from spiritual and religious life even though there are demons and ghost running around everywhere, i think they should have researched more buddhism/daoism/confucianism and had people follow some weird mix of the three as part of their everyday. Mind that mine is a prerry minor complaint, the game really was a breath of fresh air with his weird mix of classic rpg and action game.

Also, yeah, I think they did a pretty good job of showing Liara. The only personality issue I had was that older Liara kept inserting monologues about how important her relationship with Shepard was, but in the actual story she doesn't really do anything to discourage one of the other characters who is in love with her from kissing her, etc. I called it inconsistent in my review iirc

It happens once, while he's ded, when she's waiting for him to recover. She literally says "I'm not saying no, I'm saying not now." It comes across as "We can fuck once Shepard fucks off again." which I found kind of disgusting, since that's exactly what they do, granted, quite a while after he fucks off. And then it happens again right in front of Shepard, although this time it's not a full blown tongue kiss at least. Then there's a scene where they're hugging each other in the cargo bay

There's a character that's in love with Shepard as well, but he doesn't let the girl disrespect Liara like that

Maybe I read into it too much, it just doesn't seem like that's how a new marriage (they marry in the story) should be, especially one as passionate as she describes it being

And then, when he comes back to life again, this PC that Liara is bonded with is supposedly friends with Shepard, but doesn't seem to give a fuck about him. Dude literally comes back to life to find his wife married to someone else, his rank gone, all of his friends dead, and nothing worth living for, and all the character seems concerned about is whether Liara leaves her or not
