In all seriousness, the real reason is I just think Anders is more interesting of a character. I'm usually a fan of 'ancient god with ulterior motives', and in the case of Mythal/Flemeth that's definitely true, but Solas disappointed me because the mythology surrounding Fen'Harel before his reveal made me expect some sort of wily trickster, a chaotic type, and then instead was this rather stoic, weirdly neutral guy who just felt like his writing fell flat in comparison to how he was built up. In every way, Mythal/Flemeth ended up being the way more interesting version of what he was supposed to be, and I just don't care about him as a villain. He doesn't feel like he has a strong conviction for his actions.

Anders on the other hand - he's a whiny bitch in 2, but he's a great candidate for a chaotic/villainous element, and instead of being some old god who woke up and was cranky at the world, most if not all of the misfortune and violence surrounding him is entirely due to either a sleight of fate or choice on his part. He's a condition of wrong place, wrong time, wrong choice, and I like that his character devolves and degrades due to being overtaken by his demons, both literal and figurative. Maybe I'm a glutton for pain, but seeing a character I loved in Awakening wither into a paranoid, depressed shadow of the man he once was ended up being really interesting to me. I remember reading somewhere that a major theme the writers wanted was the darkness in mens' hearts being the real source of evil, and Anders is perhaps the best example of that to me - he wasn't a world-destroying Archdemon or ancient Magister, he wasn't vying for power, he was just once an exciteable young man who got into shit and let it spiral him down to a bitter, explosive conclusion. He's a shining example of letting your personal darkness consume you to the point you've lost all control of your own righteous wickedness. That's why I find him interesting.
