A first try for a Systems Alliance Corvette, a ship smaller than frigattes like the Normandy, with a crew only around 10. Corvettes are the smallest proper warship types made for "coast guard duties" near space stations or colonies. They put it there to appeal to fans raging over the ending. Should Shep ever come back to the franchise it would mean we are back to our galaxy or at the very least they canonized any of the endings. The entire point of moving the next title to Andromeda is avoiding that.

Also about fat people, it would have been a lot more work. They either have to double the number of models or make textures work with stretching. Same thing about height. Stretching will always have flaws and Bioware already can't finish a game without adding stuff like that. I'm not an expert on this though so I might just be wrong.

True but it is really damn accurate and can shoot further than any other shotgun so it makes up for the lack of damage. It is the best unless your squadmate charges in melee range, I think only Grunt does that.

The difference in overall damage per shot is pretty negligible in reality. 251 base for ths GPS (if all shots connect) vs 162 for the Scimitar, 220 for the Katana, and 294 for the Eviscerator. More important is that the GPS is the only ME2 shotgun with any actual range. It's perfectly viable for most firefights, and I've seen squaddies rack up lots of kills with it, while with the other three shotguns your teammates will usually just fire shots that miss and do nothing due to insane spread.

Am I the only one who thinks Mass Effect 3 is insanely comfy after getting the main story missions out of the way? Like ME2, except with a full team, teammates that actually have interactions beyond the bare minimum, and next to no daddy issues. Granted, nothing approaches ME1's planet explorations and occasional merc base sackings for comfiness, but still. It's probably why it's so infinitely replayable even if I'm making mostly the same decisions each time... not that the decisions actually affect much.

Nah, you make it sound better than it is. The long slow intro, unskippable cutscenes/conversations, the fetch quests, etc, break up the momentum too much. That's why ME needed to have banished Reapers at the end of the first game, otherwise eventually everything must tie into them somehow and it makes 3 far too one-note. ME2 is heavy on daddy issues, but squadmate parentage is at the very least a separate topic from invincible omnipotent machines.

Yeah, that's a big problem. But I still think it's fun to replay in spite of that (I actually think ME2 is much worse for the overly long intro, scanning minigame, and conversations/cutscenes that become old on subsequent playthroughs). Maybe I'm just being thrown off at the moment though, since as I said I am speaking of the stretch of game after you get most of that bullshit out of the way, and that's where I am right now. Now I pretty much always play up to Sanctuary while doing the bare minimum of side missions, then save the rest of the side missions, DLC, Normandy banter, N7 missions, etc. for later.

I love the desert look, and the wrecks spread around. It would've been really awesome to see something like that in Mass Effect. Not quite as large as an entire planet, but something that still gives you that open, lonely feeling.
Of course, they're doing something with exploration in Andromeda, but we haven't actually seen anything concrete regarding gameplay.
