So I was thinking on a mod that adds dlc creatures to the commonwealth, but have come to the conclusion that bloodworms and cave crickets are the only ones that'd make a lick of sense. Gazelles/greybrahmin/Lizardman only makes sense for Nuka World, and it makes no sense for the commonwealth to have far harbor fog monsters. Wolves maybe.

Let me tell you a short story about a friend of mine in the army who came home on leave once. It's not a terribly unique story, but it makes my point.

So I'm dragging this out and telling you a story because I want you to remember it. There's some word for it, like cognitive feedback or something, but there's no use throwing jargon around.

Download the latest version of Fallout 4. It's always the latest version you want, because that's the version steam owners are on and that mod authors are building around. This is true regardless of game. You always want the most recent build. I'm on the Kaos pack personally. Kaos pack is 1.7.12, which is one version behind the current 1.7.15, but mods still work fine on it for me.

I'm trying to rig these damn robo arms to a Mr Handy rigged chairlift monster for Maxwell's World.

Problem is fuck if I know which robot arm is the right one to use because all of Fallout 4's robots were made by the devil. Trying to decipher that nonsense is a huge pain. It also doesn't help that robots literally do not show up in the CK preview window and apparently don't even have their own AA files! Its a mystery to me how they even function!

It is even EASIER to make Automatron robot mods than alter vanilla robots, which is insane to me. I dunno, maybe I could talk Trainwiz into making the mod require Automatron, unless it doesn't already.

That thing was a train in the same way that DDProductions83 is a productive human being.
Anyway, that train was just using the old physics system that the Falbthzar gears did, which allowed for animated statics provided they didn't move too fast. He then used translatetoref and a series of waypoints to have a little train that goes around and glitches out half the time.
Basically a version of what I did for Transportato several years earlier, but without compensating for Skyrim's intercell movement limitations.

Here's a sloppy mess I set up in Sanctuary. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong though, it seems like it has some kind of cheat detection. It only takes a few balls before the game stops prematurely, so I only get about 400 or so per token. I could use any tips you got. From the looks of your setup, you're dumping a shitload of balls in at once, which should be enough to cancel the game early, not sure how you're getting 3100 per token.

I had thought about switching over to hoops, since I was able to rack up points pretty fast just with the hold-the-ball method, but the hoops don't store the balls like the atomic roller game does. Just started playing FO4 and I have a question about settlement raids/damage.

If a settlement is under attack and you ignore it, will the damage done be based on the game comparing settler/base defense numbers? Or actually take the settlement design into account?

I built a water farm at Sanctuary and closed it off completely. No seams or anything. Just a huge, partially submerged, concreate block...If I don't respond to an attack, will the game use the power of ratios and fractions to shred my generators?

Back when I still played in Normal Mode I used to just make a quicksave whenever I feel that a settlement attack is about to done(usually takes around 24 in-game hours for me) and repeatedly reload it until the settlement successfully defends itself. Works everytime unless the settlement has 0 defense rating.

Even after all these add-ons and shit my favorite two weapons are still the same.

Triple-barreled Missile Launcher with targeting computer and upgraded Cryolator.

Nothing beats them in quick wrecking at range and up close. Everything else just kinda isn't as good. Cryolator doesn't let anything get to you and it's AoE damage so small and large enemies get demolished.

At long range targeting computer on Missile Launcher is simply the best method of attack. Takes less than a second to fuck shit up. With three barrels even whole groups of enemies won't get to fire a shot at you.

I just bring some rinky-dink gun to kill enemies not worth spending cryo cells or missiles on and it doesn't really fucking matter even which gun you use at that point. Plasma rifle is good, because it's light and deals great damage throughout the game.
