He starts out by doing kick, hits everyone for a metric fuck ton of damage. His next attack is an incredibly high chance of kicking again.
He's incredibly fast, hits incredibly hard, to use wall you'd need the character using it to START at nearly full ATB to get off wall before his second attack. Not to mention he can counter physical, so that breakdown could get a lower HP character killed before he even does his second kick.
Add onto the fact that people have shown that his AI is fucked up and it's a huge RNG shitfest to even get past the first round of combat.

Terra's character kind of bugged me in Dissidia. Yeah, I know Locke came to her rescue in FF6, but she's a little too much of a damsel in distress in it. Part of my problem might have been that the Onion Knight was the one to save her, though. It didn't bug me nearly as much when Vaan took over saving her in Duodecim, even though I never played XII or had any reason to give a crap about him.

Her biggest competition is Luneth, who has almost 100 more attack over her but who requires a turn to buff and has significantly worse area attack and defense. Then there's Orlandu, who has 282 base attack and incredible single target attacks, but no dual wield. Gilgamesh gets like 250 base if you put a katana on him and pretty good single target potential, but no dual wield.

Luneth is the only real competition here, but they're all base 5* units. He has way more raw attack and single target damage, but worse defenses, no elemental attacks and doesn't chain as easily (lightning hits 5 times). It's debatable for sure, he's top tier too.

Worst case, there are banners with comparable characters and multiple of them means an overall better chance of pulling something good.
Even then, there are a number of non-5* base characters available right now that, while not as good, can still hold up really well at that point.
Too many people make her out as some sort of super unit that you'll require to do things when she really isn't. Unless you really like her, it's not worth wasting too much lapis on. (For her original banner anyways, maybe later banners with her and other good units would be worth it)

Lightning's gives her 30% evasion against physical attacks.

There are a couple like Tilith and Refia, but none of the actual physical attackers that match or beat Lightning (and would thus outclass her) are 4* base or lower.

Shame all I'm using cash these days is alcrysts and character fusions. A more reasonable game would probably let me trade around 10k for 100 lapis or something, but a more reasonable game would also not be a mobile cash grab.

I really can't wait for WoFF to come out so I can finally remember what's it like to play an actual Final Fantasy game again and lay down these FF-themed pachinko machines for a while.

Ended up bringing an undergeared Terra and Cecil to the PRO exploration and still defeated it, though having to mostly auto the Amoeba boss except when reestablishing Full Break sucked hard. It's the fourth best non-TM sword in the game counting all JP updates, so you would have to have two dual wield units that can't use any other weapons to use even ONE.

I want to gear up Firion/Rain/Lass/Cecil/Zidane so that I have some decent gear on them. And since I have one Zidane, that means a future dual wielder. And I use Rain and Lass and Fina for only storyline content so not having to strip my better units to go storyline makes things a lot faster. Optional content will be handled by my team of 2 Chizus/CoD/WoL/Cecil/Terra/Firion/Exdeath when they get their 6* forms in global and whenever Zidane gets his 6* form announced eventually.

I raised my Bahamut's attack to Lv. 14, and for the next level the requirements are 15 fire shards, 3 fire stones, and 1 oricalchum chip.
