Hmm i see what my issue is, It put all my patch files in its own Japanese folder when i pointed to the directory of the game. It came with an exe called "FileCopy.exe" and i see all the folders with all the stuff from the update. CM2 has been out for one year. It has more content and customization by far. Honey Select is less than a month old but its base customization is very promising. Like all Illusion games though it wasn't built to support mods.

Between the two I prefer the sex in CM2 because in Honey Select you have to consider both male and female's arousal levels. The added complexity is novel but I don't feel that it really adds any value to the game's sex scenes. If anything it just adds more work because then you have to worry about three people's arousal levels: yours(IRL), the guy's, and the girl's. In CM2 arousal is shared between master and maid so transitioning is much smoother.

Really though, because the models are so different(anime style vs realistic style) I'd recommend going with the style that appeals to you more. Honey Select will get more content over time, and maybe two more expansion packs before Illusion ultimately abandons it to work on another project.

What could their next project be?!

Biko 4 finally resurfacing after nearly a decade of absence?!
I'd like to think they'd consider making Artificial Girl 4 at some point but when you get down to it Honey Select fills that niche.

So far CM3D is far and away the better game but HS has better customization. The accessory system is a huge deal.
