I worked on editing translations for a project a couple of years back.
I ended up spending eight fucking months turning quickly-translated machine vomit with some notes to clarify added, polished it until it shone, and then had the whole goddamn thing stolen out from under me by an autistic pile of shit that threw a tantrum after posting it and took the whole thing down because I called him out for it, so a grand total of eight people ever got to see it.

It's a waste of time and effort. People are generally happy to read machine translations anyway, so it's not like it's any real mess.

Yes. Everybody who's having problems with the game either didn't perform the installation correctly. Installed the broken patch (0909k) that Illusion them self retracted within hours but still made it into the torrent files. Broke the game due to botched mod installation. Or didn't know that they had a corrupted card or two in their folder which caused the game to glitch.

I have never heard that anybody had any performance issues until now.
