Who the fuck started the Yasuo top meme anyway?

The concept of him going top was a mistake to begin since he runs the chance of having to face other bruisers and better duelists 80% of the time the other 20 being ranged tops or the uncommon AP top.

Yasuo was made to counteract AP mids with skill shots and not much for escapes. So why take him to lane where he would be put in at a disadvantage most of the time?

I mean fighting your counters every now and then can serve as a good method of learning your champs flaws and overcoming them, but still if you run up against a counter and the said person who knows the counter will is just gonna curb stop you and bring down your team.

So in the end it's just a question of...Fucking why?

Well, I just got to experience something weird.

I haven't played in 5 months and so I decided to play an intermediate bot game to get back in the hang of things. Also playing on a level 5 account so no runes etc.

And it was going like a normal bot game for the most part until about 15 minutes in when the enemy team grouped as 5 mid and never stopped. They stayed grouped as 5 for the rest of the game and just continually pushed. Meanwhile I think my team had 3 bots on it because they only stayed in the sidelanes and kept dying to turrets and stuff and couldnt even really push.

So we ended up losing cause it was only me and 1 other guy trying to defend the base against Leona, Akali, Annie, Sion and Zyra. The enemy bots never went to fight our "teammates" in the sidelanes.

I was higher leveled but it didn't matter. I was only Lissandra and not a harder carry so eventually the bots just steamrolled us with perma cc and high damage.

Is this normal? Does that happen in bot games a lot now?

Rough week for you to start playing. Most of the free rotation champs are difficult to play.
Soraka's always useful if you're supporting, but it's important to not get caught, since you're squishy and don't really do any damage.

I wouldn't recommend playing ad this week, since your only options are Lucian and Graves.
Maybe pick up Annie if you just want to delete people as a support, or Ashe if you really want to ADC.

I want people to stop picking blitz as a support. Specially when you're first/second pick and you have no idea who the enemy team is gonna pick. The opportunity for the hook to be actually useful is incredibly low and you'd be better off with healer supports or cc supports like alistair.

The hook is only useful if you land it on the right target.
A heal/CC is good no matter who you use it on

Hooking the wrong target is only okay if you have a lead against the enemy.
A heal/CC is good no matter if you're losing or winning.

Hooking an enemy is usually counter effective since you're bringing the enemy closer to your carry

But on a serious note, there are a few reasons

1: Back in 2011 when she was released until i think 2014 when they "fixed" her animation cancelling, she was outright broken for a very long time
2. Being a "high" skill champion, or rather a champion who at one point had a very high skill ceiling, she tended to attract an extremely overcompetitive playerbase. People using her to her full extent were basically a few dashes shy of S2 Lee Sin levels of mobility and she was extremely bursty so her solo queue potential was insane.
This has all been toned down since then but people still have 'Nam flashbacks of getting deleted as by a Riven Flash-RW xx R ing them before they could even blink
3. She's cute but people hated what she did to their anuses in S2/3 so people still have residual ass pain lingering.
