Just a guess but it seems like the system gives you relics that you need/are an upgrade. So say your main spec weapon has three relics but your off spec is missing one. You're more likely to get the missing one from world quests. This is just how i feel it's working right now.

They're fine, I have a bear at 101, your Ironfur and Something of Ursol? (I actually forgot the name admittedly) give you great damage reduction, then you have one more damage reduction spell as well as another armor boost. Then with the artifact you get yet another damage reduction spell. You also have a spell that heals you based on damage taken (up to 2 stacks) so you can get yourself easily out of heavy damage situations. They also have great AoE damage with Thrash and Swipe (I believe, again I don't really remember the name).

If there's higher demand than the supply then it's bound to happen. The same thing happens with Ancient Mana Crystals which are in a high demand but there's little to no supply so during the day a lot of people sell for 250~g a pop, then at night you can easily sell those for 500-600g (on my server. of course). Raiding has become a secondary activity since MoP

You're not supposed to raid to be a top dog anymore, like raiding is on the same level as battle pets or casual pvp.

It's all about mogs, mounts, achievements, pets, moderate amounts of gold for tokens, trade chat drama, legendarys (of any expansion), and ilevel is just one of those things you can acquire but it's the least trascendental since every patch wipes your progress pretty much making it very insignificant. Before MoP there wasn't that much content so raiding was the only sign of someone being hardcore and thug, but they released fucking baby mode raids and what not, who cares if you raided in patch 6.1 or 5.1 or whatever in 6 months no one will know and no one will care, but a nice mount/pet/mog/cheevo is forever.

Also you can just do pvp like all fucking day and still get the highest item level possible, all you miss are set bonuses.

I thought the same now I'm glad I didn't save for the token and decided to go with it before mat prices drop because I'll actively make enough gold for a year of sub soon enough (when I get more time to invest into it during the weekend and invest even more money to make it back).
