If a system has a million games and I only enjoy 20, I've still met my personal quota. I can't play vidya all day so the amount of time I want to spend playing should never change. Especially when you figure in the types of games like MK7 and MonHun. You can get a lot of milage out of a system depending on which games.

I'm not saying you're wrong for not liking a lot of games (in your eyes), but it's a personal issue on your part. Maybe I have shit taste but I'm having a ball finding so many good games to play on this thing.

Honestly, my method is several tons of tedious, but honestly Freeshop or CIAngel maybe are easier for you.

But if you must follow my method, go ahead:
Download the latest FunKeyCIA files and put them in your user folder. After that, go to the 3ds titlekeys site and download a new enctitlekeys.bin file for good measure. Open command prompt and type in "FunKeyCIA.py -ticketsonly -nfskeyfile -all"

You'll have these ticket files. Now, I hope you hacked the 3ds to have FBI at this point, because you'll need it now. Since the latest releases of FBI, you can just batch install these files. They won't download the games unless you tell FBI to. Wait a while as they install. Then access the eshop to see if something like NewMario2 is redownloadable. If it is, you succeeded.

So basically the short version of what I need to do is dump my EmuNAND to a file using EmuNAND9, as per the instructions of the guide, and then when I get to "Section IV - Restoring the System" I just do the system restore using that file instead of the NAND backup from my fresh N3DS, correct?

You need to do the 3.61 update glitch. Basically you download the 3.61 update. It will ask if you want to install the update, say yes and the vita will extract the files and reboot, don't worry it's not actually installing yet. Once the vita reboot it will ask you if you want to continue installing the update, say no and the vita will boot normally. Now run henkaku and the game updates should be working, all you have to do is click on the update button on the games bubbles.

There are two ways.
You can use CHHM2 via the homebrew, you'll just have to put your custom themes in the theme folder on the SD card. If you want to change themes you'll have to use CHHM2 every time.
You can also convert a pack of themes with Howling Theme Tool into a .cia file and then install it with FBI. All your theme will be available in the home settings.

What the fuck. Been playing Estival past few days now. And I can say that I like it less than both SV and Deep Crimson 2. I don't know what it is about it, it just feels more shallow. Maybe the lack of controlling character in living room. The changing room also feels more artificial. Lots of amazing costumes (albeit thanks to full DLC dump) though. In combat camera is the suckiest of all games played so far. The combat is as generic as SK and less deep than DC2, but at least in SK you weren't so restricted in your movement, and I feel like it's even less balanced now (some characters are clearly much more OP than others). What's the point of nerfing some characters so much when you still have OP characters in game? Looking at you Daidouji and Rin.

Framerate is good with plugin. Amount of characters to play as is the only good part. Having a partner character doesn't do anything either. Having items is kinda fun. Don't know how to feel about this, but I can't be bothered to play further.

Any notable improvements with mGBA on the Vita?

What would make you claim this? I have used the plailect guide since it switched to using Luma and it took ages. Also quite annoying that there's no Cakes instructions anymore. I did mine this morning and it took about 3 hours. 2 of which were dealing with errors at the downgrade step which I solved by formatting the sd card fresh then it all went flawlessly. I even spent 20 minutes distracted on a phone call
