I would actually l like some more higher skill option to increase DPS on single targets. At the moment, you can melee-stomp on the way down, zap, then time a melee finish for 200 damage in about 2 seconds. Lucios and Anas healing themselves will force a reload, dragging things out to a total of about 4.5 seconds. Mercy can usually react and fly out of range in the 1 second gap between stomping her and reaching 200 damage. A good Zen can rape your face in 2 seconds unless you surprise him (which you won't if he's a good Zen).

You can theoretically mix in melee while zapping at the moment to conserve ammo and have almost identical DPS. Hold primary fire while rapidly tapping melee. Maybe you could use this to kill Anas and Lucios without reloading, but Lucios can get out of melee range, and you need to skirt Ana's sleep dart so you'll be at your barrier's range after the initial stomp.

What role do you usually play? As a tank who is in diamond, I can tell you that for tanks it's pretty much luck what your SR is, unless you're a complete retard. DPS SR is atleast semi-reflective of your skill level, and healer SR is fucked by blizzard which is why everyone hates playing healer.

From what I noticed, Winston's melee is only justified as a finisher move really. With the time needed to land your melee and reset the animation to start tickling again, you'd deal more damage just holding M1. However melee can deal instant damage which is good to finish someone off or as a farewell slap when you jump away or before you reload

Everyone’s folks were butchered, some fighting, some running away. It wasn’t just one attack, no. Focking tincans hunted us for years. Eventually they were stopped by some fancy cloaks – Overwatch, the heroes of our world. Even thought of joining them at one point… hmpf.
But then it became worse. It always does

Just when we began to live again, began to rebuild what we had, our trusty gov’men, cowards who hid in their underground bunkers during the war, declared our Outback an omnic territory. As a “gesture of good will” at that. Funniest focking joke I ever heard, ‘cept it wasn’t. We were kicked out of our homes – lonely folks and families alike. Out to live in slums. Cornered yet again by focking tincans.
Well, it was about then when I lost all trust in “civilized society”. The Australian Liberation Front was formed. Beth’s idea actually, she wanted a better future for us three. The fire in her eyes.. Yeah, she was the strong one.
Folks were joining every day, aint much of a surprise really. We raided omni… no, our own streets. Scrapped the tins for supplies and munition - medicine was the rarest though - sabotaged their factories. Branded outlaws leading a guerilla warfare – that were the headlines. Until one day we got tipped by some suit about the location of the core to their omnium. We got a chance to retaliate, a chance to finally get our homes back once and for all.
The suit didn’t mention though, that the core was a nuclear reactor.

Yes but a lot of climbing the ranks has to do with mainting social cohesion within your team, because people won't work together if they get off on the wrong foot. So even if you're great as attack Symetra, you'll have the team arguing before it even starts, which is not good.
