Don't resent buying the games and primary purpose for Vita is just playing said games. Losing access to PSN store would be inconvenient.

With that in mind what, chiefly, is the 3.60 homebrew scene selling? So far most appealing aspect appears to be data management, particularly saves.

Either way holding onto 3.60 for a while. Looks like what can be done is still being explored, would be senseless to close the door too soon.

Exposure and looking up unfamiliar things as you come across them.

Working out how to expediate the look-up process speeds this up i.e. if you don't know the word but know one of the kanji from a different word, can produce that word to get said kanji and then place a * to replace the kanji you don't know.

e.g., 餞別. If you don't have any idea what 餞 is, or how it's read, enter *別 (べつ, assuming knowledge of) and it'll populate all words with 別 as 2nd character. Will find it among there.

Thinking about it there'll probably be about 50 in 別's case so bad example, but you get the idea. If you know 片鱗 is へんりん then you can quickly produce *鱗 to look up 逆鱗.

On PC Kanjitomo is an image-recognition program linked to a dictionary that you point at kanji and it'll automatically try to read it to give you the word's reading and meaning. With clear regular fonts at a reasonable size it has a fair success rate.

Other important thing is taking note of not just what a word means but how it was used, and how you could use it in another sentence. Doing that helps with passive recognition and integration into active vocabulary. Memories do not exist in isolation but webs of context, taking the time to construct a context around it ultimately aids recall.

Really at this point in time it isn't about the third party developers making games for the vita as they are the ones who are going to get effected. In turn if games stop coming out you are directly effecting vita owners who bought a vita, bought vita games and overall supported the people developing games for the platform. Really the problem is, I and many other vita owners, are annoyed. We're annoyed because of the potential effects piracy can have on a system like the vita and we're annoyed at the selfish people who want to pirate stuff. You pirates are party crashers, uninvited guests. Vita owners do not welcome you here yet you barge in with your selfish intents to potentially ruin it for everyone else. And at the end of all of this when the pirates walk off having ransacked the wole place who will be the ones effected?
Why the people who supported the vita and basically helped keep it alive for the past 5 damn years. You guys wouldn't even BE at this stage if it wasn't for our paying and support that we have been giving the system for the past 5 damn years and THIS is how you treat us?
