and then I think you use the liquify tool (or possibly a differnt tool) in photoshop to distort them.

or go into Gmod and directly warp TF2 models.

Though TF2 will kick out some pretty bizzare shit on itself sometimes.

I remember when the Foster's Facade first came out and it caused a glitch where all pyro's had two heads that constantly clipped into and out of each other, even when they had no cosmetic items equipped. (sadly all my screenshots from that are currently trapped on the hard drive of my old dead laptop.)

I've been thinking about how to play Pyro right and trying to figure out what he excels at. Help me out here.

You all know they fail at it, DR changed the tides long ago. If a Spy needs to be found a Scout can do at least 2x better than a Pyro can without getting stabbed once while W+M1'ing. Playing a lonewolf would let them slip away
>sweeping and litting Spies for a Medic and pocket (generally Heavy) duo
Even a roamer Soldier can watch the duo from above and kill the Spy the moment he decloaks. Sometimes Pyro fails or get distracted by an enemy Soldier or Scout.
>pissing off Scouts
Still their W+M1 meta and latency dependant range opens them to meatshots. They can only make Scouts run for medikits if they can't flare-punch or air-crit them in time and hardly anything changes.

To supply Medic with über you have to play with Backscratcher and enemy Engineer should be fool enough to set an on-foot Sentry and none of your teammates should be smart enough to take it out.

If you go to the developers commentary they say for a fact that pyro is designed as an ambush class due to his close range high DPS. The problem is that like with spy, anyone who has played for more than 2 hours will know the typical tricks that the average pyro will use to kill an enemy.

This is why the pyro NEEDS crits to take out an enemy, the raw power of the flamethrower is a menacing thing, but requires to the pyro to be very close to the enemy to use it effectively. Any good player will know how to avoid a pyro charging straight towards them so they need to use other tactics to take down an enemy player before they can out DM pyro from a safe distance outside of the flamethrower range.

I still stand firm with my belief that the flamethrower should have a tighter spread and longer range like the lightning gun in quake. Halve afterburn time so degreaser fags still have their epic combos but also so that people don't have to make a mad dash to the nearest health pack. People say that the pyro should have shorter range and faster speed, but then he'd just be a shittier version of the scout with a gimmicky weapon.

I used to be play soldier only but currently i don't even know what i main anymore.
Proably soldier/heavy/medic and engy sometimes.
Also aussie minigun is sexy af but tomislav seems to be better at actual playing. That 20% more accurate thing seems to be more like placebo but idk.
