its disgustingly good at killing heroes, but even if it wasn't, you'd still max it first just for killing jungle creeps

1 shrapnel + right clicks clears a 4-5 stacked hard camp in like 20 seconds, you don't even need to use 2 shrapnels.

sniper can jungle a 5 minute midas in 6.88, what more did you fucking want

Death Pulse buff:
>search radius increased from 475 to 550
>projectile speed increased from 400 to 800
>mana cost rescaled from 125/145/165/185 to 140 at all levels

Heartstopper Aura reworked and renamed to Heartstopper:
>targets a single enemy unit
>causes target to lose 2/2.5/3/3.5% of their current HP for 4 seconds
>the target cannot be healed or targetted by its allies during the duration
>pure damage, does not pierce magic immunity
>90 mana cost, 12 second cooldown
>if target dies while under Heartstopper effect, Necrophos gains 5 stacks of Sadist

Sadist change:
>Health regen per stack increased from 1/2/3/6 to 2/4/6/8
>Mana regen per stack increased from 2/4/6/12 to 4/8/12/16
>Stack duration reduced from 6 to 3 seconds
>Hero kills now give 5 times the bonus instead of 10 (stacks with Heartstopper bonus)

Reaper's Scythe change:
>damage type changed from magical to pure (does not pierce magic immunity)
>no longer increases respawn time

Aghanims change:
>increases enemy respawn time by 10/20/30 seconds

Death Pulse is pretty much a straight buff.
Heartstopper gives way more utility than a shitty passive. Necrophos should not have two passives to begin with.
Sadist is better overall because it's faster and gives him more presence outside of his ult.
Ult kills more reliably but doesn't have the "delete from the game" meme anymore.

Why do people hate drafting teamfight heroes?

I'm 3k an I often have to really convince them during draft or they will pick PA, Enchantress, Sniper, AA and be like all surprised when they lose 5v5.

I can absolute admit there's people out there that play a mean Invoker and do it well, but at this point the hero is so easy to play it's not hard at all to do "impressive" things like the Euls/Sunstrike/Blast combo to one shot any hero in the game for the first half hour.

Cold Snap + Spirits + Ghostwalk and Ochid is free kills on pretty much everyone that doesnt have a dispel, especially in the lower MMRs where people AFK jungle. Sit in lane with your free Heart regen once Q is level 3 or just dominate the lane with your +100 damage right clicks. Fire off sunstrikes at people that refuse to walk in anything but straight lines. Learn to land your balanced EMP, zero spells in a teamfight for the entire enemy team is actually a pretty massive deal who would have thought??

Honestly the hero does everything and does it pretty well once he has levels. The fact that they can give him 9 spells and not have them on the same power level as the 4 other heroes have is just stupid and makes no sense at all.
