I always think that if you gank and don't succeed while the enemy mid stays in lane and farms you fuck yourself over entirely.

also from my experience when the lane is dead-even and my enemy decides to gank and i'm playing with relatively sane people that fall back after me pinging 100 times and yelling it in the mic, resulting in the gank to fail, it will lead to a very easy snowball.
I wish people would understand this instead of afking at the enemies' tower while I'm furiously trying to hammer into their brains that my enemy might gank. It's not fucking hard to get back in time when you call it early enough.

if you're still there, just get on youtube and watch as much shit about mechanics as you can.
at first it will be really overwhelming and you definitely won't put everything to use but now and then you'll think "I could've done X" and eventually you'll do it naturally. e.g. treads switching

watch a lot of pro replays as well, don't just wait for flashy plays, pay attention to stuff like timings, positioning, whether they fight or farm etc

lastly practice last hitting, just create a solo lobby, pick your hero, buy your regular items and go cs for 10 minutes. 70 is the absolute minimum before you play real matches

that should get you started, though it will take a little while to get it, you'll start feeling like you're improving every match and it's really nice, gets you motivated
