Yes they do. Even if you don't include Spell synergy and Combo activation the only time going second is worse is when your opponent has an aggressive start.

If they have 1>2>3 then they stand a good chance of beating your 1>2>3 UNLESS you use The Coin strategically and actually Ramp out your minions ahead of curve.
Even something as mundane as 2>HP>3 will often beat 2>3 because the person going second can actually play their card first.

Hunter is extremely pigeonholed in just one deck which has ideal 8 and 9 turns already and will most likely lose if it goes later. For 9 mana you get a 8/8 and 8 burn damage. For 8 mana you get 3 bodies, 12/10 stats and 5 burn damage.

It's great when you get Krush off a discovery but running you himself isn't a good idea really.

Krush should just be 7 or 8 mana and have less HP, 8/8 for a charge minion is a bit pointless.

Tbf azure drake has no real downside. It's a good body at 4/4 out of the reach of priests main removal and other classes 3 damage removals, it's a dragon for synergy, it cantrips itself as a free draw and it adds spell damage.

Really for just a rare it should have just one ability like just draw a card or be made to a 3/3. It is an instant include in many decks for its sheer utility.

Yes he's easier to remove but having choice over the ability can win games. Instant 10 damage arcane missles can destroy a zoo player playing his whole hand. And if it's empty board and you play Rafaam the 3/3 mummies is usually a case of gg

Ysera can be slow. Only 4 damage but high health so sticky, but against zoo you're basically praying for the 5 damage everything card and the others are good but slow. Better used for winning more in an already strong position

Cantrips are extremely good in card games hands down.

It thins your deck out and helps you draw towards desirable win conditions. The fact it's the only cantrip in the game without worthless stats makes it a good pick for any deck.

And it has the added bonus of adding spell damage without shit stats like the kobolds

AND it's a dragon which is a good tribe to play with and synergies well with the curator as well for non tribe decks.

Don't underestimate card draw. Especially when it's added to a card that's already a better ogre magi without it

I've been trying to come up with a hybrid C'Thun Dragon deck.

Think about it - the C'Thun and Dragon cards are pretty good. Most of them deal damage when being played on board (Disciple of C'Thun, Corrupter, Wyrm) which can swing the board in 1 turn with easy follow up.

With Guardians, Emperor, possibly a Crazed Worshiper and Chillmaw you have a decent chance of surviving early aggro.

What class would work best with this? I'm thinking either Priest for the additional Dragon drops and the easy removal with Entomb & Deaths, or maybe Druid for ramp potential and also adding in Fandral which is also a broken card. Possible Paladin for lategame Tirion and Lightlord?

What do you guys overall think of this kind of a deck?

The thing about Corruptor and Wyrm is you need dragons in your hand. You'd be running a deck that isn't 50% dragons and 50% dragon synergy, you'd be running 33% dragons, 33% dragon synergy, and 33% c'thun, making it a lot less consistent and more likely to have hands of just c'thun and dragon synergy cards, or high-cost dragons and c'thun cards that are barely vanilla minions. And if you cut down the number of C'thun cards, your C'thun activators like Emperor become less useful overall.
