How to fix installation error:
Method 1: Insert second disc in the same slot where the first was.
Method 2: Extract the WinRoot files from the first disc and paste it somewhere, then extract the files from the WinRoot folder on the second disc and paste it in the same folder. Simply start the game with the launcher.

Basically instead of running the setup program you just need to extract the illusion folders in each iso to your game directory then run the three dlc/patch exes that came with it. Once you do that you can install the english mod and go from there

Call me a faggot but I thought Illusion would learn by now. AA2 was slightly better on one fort and that's the ability to kind of do other things with your characters than just fuck. HS succeeds in what it's supposed to be. A waifu creator/ sex simulator. But I don't understand why it would take the setting of a hotel when it's gameplay has nothing to do with it. I figure if you're going to put effort into making it a hotel you'd have some events that affect the location and have some elements that aren't all based on repeatedly fucking the same girl to get her stats up

To those interested in the "Tanisha Enos" character I made, I've given her face a makeover. With all the new features that HS now has, I wasn't really happy with her SBPR look. It was always a bit too uncanny valley for me anyway (her face was inspired by 90s eurasian porn games so that was actually a bit purposeful, if a bit heavy handed). Plus I was getting jealous of the other characters people have been making. Really great stuff. Anyway, I thinned down the face a bit and made her nose much larger. The head was too fat and her nose was too small. A couple other changes here and there. Oh also a bit of an attire change. Hopefully it's enough to your liking that you might "upgrade" too it. There's a chance I'll make a second pass at her, but I need to stop looking at her for a few days to refresh my image of her.

It's a love hotel, there's nothing to do gameplay-wise. Also, Illusion's production cycle is as following : release a big game > release multiple shitty game reusing old and sometimes improved engines > release another big game.
We had AA, then tons of shit, then AA2, followed by another pile of shit, and now we have premium resort that's so bad the shitty game that is coming afterward (Honey Select) is actually more interesting.

At this point Im just playing CM3D2 while waiting for Miconisomi's game (wich looks pretty fucking good) because AA3 ain't coming anytime soon.

I, for one, disliked AA2 and it's H-scene being locked behind an insubstantial date sim. Having an entire classroom full of girls just made me hope for the ability to get them into kinky situations, but it was all a bust. I'd rather them focus on more H-scenes than a dating sim on par with Newgrounds games from 2004.

With that said, this game is still somewhat disappointing. I mean I'm sure they must have spent ages on the creator, as they're a small studio, but come on. The sex scenes are so vanilla. There's like no fetishes to bring to life at all. Foot people are lucky there's a foot-job in the game, but that's about it. You can't even pull out after a creampie to watch it leak out or anything, yet there IS a spit out option. Weird.

I guess the idealist in me expected 3D Sex Villa but with an amazing creator.

Still, AA2 left me way more blue balled. I look forward to making tons of Rule 34 with Honey Select and actually getting to see them in action a little without hassle.

Shitty backgrounds even by eroge standards, very little variety of sex scenes and only vanilla, framerate issues, the "physic" cumshots are laughably bad, terrible fighting mechanics, etc.
The game had some good ideas (managing an hotel, seducing girls all over the island) but the execution is terrible. I don't even know why they wanted to put in combat and treasures, just focus on the hotel and romance part that's already more work than on AA2.
