For r8 I think the better build for Krivis 3 is Druid 2 Taoist. With that build you're on a weird midway point between the Bokor Plague Doctor pandemic effigy+Incinerate AoE build and the lightning nuker Toist build. That's still a very useful build just a little outside the norm.

ToS shows why I hate nowaday mmos. I don't even want to complain about lack of optimization but 'smaller' things that simply annoy me.
Why make player go through all areas? Why not make multiple areas with with mobs lv25-35 and then they all would have mobs and quests prepared in mind for different classes. Like flying for 2h bow archers, heavy armored, slow but with weak mdef for mage users, undeads resistant to normal magic, but weak to cleric spells, etc. Early you would have to only go through one of such areas to be able to move up to 'another tier'. It would make leveling different alts more interesting. While somehow on topic, where did come trend of all chars and classes starting in same town? Fuck that.
I also dislike how ToS pretends it's not mostly levleing from quests, because quests give noexp, instead you get expcards you can use whenever. Totally different! At the same time, I get feeling monster exp was scaled to usually give 0.1%.
Dungeons are mostly boring, though some boss fights are nice. Despite jumping being wonky, I'd still like to see some dodge button to spike up battles more.
Circles are interesting concept, but I wish there were more skills and they were balanced.

What you're proposing would be a sandbox MMO. Modern players don't want that, they want their single-player experience, with the game carefully holding their hand every step of the way. The game was a lot more spartan and hands-free at first, but as kOBT and official releases came, they kept dumbing the game's complications down more and more.

Tree of Savior is a themepark, not a sandbox. We'll never get another Ragnarok-sized sandbox MMO ever again, simply because that's not what casuals want at this point in time. The Savior of MMOs isn't ToS, and it won't be here for a long time still. Maybe there's hope in early VR MMORPGs since those will be extremely niche.

The exp boosts are useless. Too short and don't give enough exp to even justify using them. Basically they're a waste of money.

As for how exp earned is calculated.
Every mob has a base amount of exp
Certain mobs have a modifier (special and elite is 2x, bosses is more, dungeon mobs have unique amounts too)
Every map has a modifier.

If a mob has 400 exp, is normal and on a map with 3x modifier, it gives 1200 exp.
You would think a +300% bonus would take this 1200 exp and multiply it by 4, giving 4800 exp. But it doesn't, it is added to the map modifier so you get a 6x modifier for a total of 2400 exp.

Same applies to token bonuses and team level bonus.

Because of this, the only time it's really worth using exp tomes is dungeon runs and mission runs. But mission runs give trash exp, most dungeons also give trash exp and there are times when you're just not in level range to run dungeons.

The +40 damage raise your general damage. The +60 crit damage ignore the defense reduction during the critical damage calculation. I don't have the formula at hand, but you should check out the pastebin at the OP. It should have a link to a PDF called "ToS Mechanics", there you can find the formula for normal damage and critical damage.

As for the hats, normally going for a Physical Attack up hat is preferred to the Critical Attack one. Unless you can crit like at a machine gun's fire ratio.

Actually, now that I think of it, doesn't shock status decrease INT and SPR? You could reduce their spr by a fuckton with things like Dragon Soar, Headshot, Zornhau and principally Crown if you actually manage to land the debuff on them, but I don't know if any wizard class gets a shock debuff
