yes, you need to work on the achievement quest. the storylines are not handed to you; you'll need to track down the quest givers and do them.

most of us are revered, or close to it. being at 4k means you missed a ton of quest, or started working on it late.

if you need help finding quest, install wholly/grail. these two addons together will help you find which quest you haven't done.

Can someone explain how to get 810 ilvl to queue heroics? Normal dungeons drop only 805 gear (and have hour+ queues), and I haven't had any world quests reward anything over 805 either.

PvE should reward PvE things, PvP should reward PvP things. Solo content leads to more solo content, group content leads to more group content. Any mixing of types of content should be entirely optional (see Underbelly) so that people who like both get the choice to do both.

The scenario itself is fine and even cute, but its place in the game and bias against many specs, especially healers, which already are known to have a hard time in open world, is not.
