I never got to G-Rank in FU but from what I saw in vids and in frontier it was just a plesioth that could spit molten rocks at you while it hides out of reach in the lava pits.

I really like fighting it in Gen but I hate that it still only ever goes to those two areas, it makes the dual lavasioth quest more of a pain than it needs to be

found a godcharm to use with my aka sns set.

Now the thing is, I have these 3 skills on it
Bluedgeoner
Weakness exploit
Critical Boost.

I can fit one of these ( I have 3 slots and the helm slot avaiable)
Critical eye +3
Mind's eye
(other skills that fit in 6 slots)

The thing is, with weakness exploit and aka sns?S natural 45% affinity I already have 95% crit hit, this way I can completely forget the affinity coating and go with the exhaust one.
With crit eye+3 I would be sure to hit for at least 75% aff on every Hitzone, 105% affinity with the affiity coating.
Or I could be sure never to bounce by using mind's eye.
What do you think?

I fought Lavasioth back in FU and I was astounded by how fun it was compared to its past incarnation, Plesioth, and the other pre-Tri monsters in general. It's been reworked as extensively as the Raths (who are still awful but oh well), Cham and Tigrex, and I am puzzled as to why it was given this special treatment and why it hasn't been given to every old monster if this one random monster is a-ok.

If you're talking about the high guard move it consumes stamina. Though lance and GL have the same high guard move too and consume stamina as well. And lance has an ever cooler feature that can do an AoE block for the party like a tank and that consumes the shield gauge

Iirc correctly, there isn't any premium sashimi bait, so yes, you just have to wait and keep fishing. There's a max number of fishes in the pool, so if you don't fish, none will spawn.

Is it the first High Rank quest? It's been a while, I remember it being early in HR but that's about it. I'm sure there are the usual gathering quests and the like if you want some begininng of HR armor if you're still struggling.
Max Potions are super useful because it's a full heal and will raise your health gauge to max after fainting, it's definitely worth having some for harder quests.

Anyone know how to make Loc Lac Rice in MHg?

Every guide I've followed is completely mislabeled and I've yet to actually figure out how to make it.

I have almost every vegetable and grain and I'm starting to get frustrated.
I just don't want to do all these village quests unless I know exactly what I'll get. They are so boring.

Just got these last three village quests. I know that Out of the Fry Pan has the Tigrex and Nargacuga together, but do these other two arena marathons have any pairs or are they one by one? Also, do they have HR stats or still LR?

It seems impossible to solo G rank Jhen before it can drestroy the ship, he just spams bellyflop and the binder/gong can't be used fast enough to prevent the ship from destroying

Get the Jho GS and a set with focus and sharpness+1. Learn his pattern. Hit the holes as much as possible during phase 1, even when they're already broken, because the hitzone is still there. Don't whiff the dragonator. In phase 2 break his arms to move him away from the ship. When he tries to shoot the laser at the ship you can nut up really hard and stagger him out of it with your weapon or nut down and just use the binder. Save the gong for when he does the bellyflop so you can run to his mouth and do mondo damage.

It's really not that hard, just extremely boring.

Yes, I learned the patern to use binder, gong, dragonator to prevent damage during first phase, except when i'm in the back. I use all the ammo in the box and pick up a few more for the beginning of the second face
