Every time the charge started the sound and visual cues were out of sync and I ate every hit as a result. The grinding sound cue sounded a bit slowed down.

Recoil Down +3 is necessary to hit Min recoil with a silencer. Without it, Crag 3 and Clust 3 will possess kickback. If you're going really status and trap heavy, you could forego using those shots and let the damage come from your LBB+s and your teammates. It's your call.

The main draw of the meme set is that you can use any weapon regardless of slots, which is huge in this slot starved game. but since you don't have that luxury I'd start entering max weapon slots to at least 1.

Spend all of your status shots first, then move on to explosive shots. Once the monster is hit by a status it'll build up tolerance towards its cap, and the cap gets higher after every proc of the same status.

And yeah, don't solo with God's Island. The thing about parasleep spam is that you have 3 teammates to abuse it with. The Lost Musket exists if you want to solo with that set.

MHG is unfinished and rushed and half-broken and is essentially the first game in a new series in terms of content and quality, so it only makes sense to get a G follow-up.

cause i feel like i wasted 180 hours of my life by playing gen where as I was still playing 4U up until I got gen.

i've been using HBG since every attack he does is a free power boost, but I'm not sure if it's the best for farming the shit out of him, especially farming the shit out of the VI hunt.

The spin now is actually often preceded by a stagger so...it's not always in place.

Rathians do that anyway and Tigrex's dash is actually telegraphed unlike Raths. Tigrex actually pounces a lot more often than it did in past games anyway. Also one addition to its moveset that I greatly appreciate is the turn-into-dash that it does now, instead of simply doing the two part turn that most monsters do.

Plenty of monsters require HGE to block roars. Khezu, Tigrex, Brachydios, and Hellblade Glavenus are just a few. Tigrex's roar actually deals damage is all.

That said Tigrex is pretty consistently aggressive and relies on brute force as opposed to gimmicks like Zinogre who alternates between doing literally nothing and only actually trying to fight back maybe 10% of the time until you beat the fear back into him like the bitch he is.

Tigerex is shit. Just because he's less shitter than the huge pile of shit every other gen 1 and 2 monster are, doesn't make him less shitty.

Maybe if they gave the hunter priority for attacks and dodges like for later gen monsters so you can pull of crazy stunts and combos, it would be nice. But they didn't so he just becomes extremely tedious and annoying. The fact you can't vault off him a vast majority of the time when he charges seems counter intuitive as a means to dodge.
