The vita doesn't automatically install updates, worst that'll happen is it downloads the update and waits for you to manually install it. If that still bothers you, disable "Download Update File for System Software" under System->Auto-Start Settings.

I installed the new street pass DLC via .cia and everything is working expect the fucking cooking mini game AND I DON'T KNOW WHY. It starts up, I tap that i'm ready to cook and the game crashes and I have to restart my 3DS.

My dad works for Vitamin and he gave me a copy of 2.6. I can run PS4 games at 4k.

Apparently the sly collection can be dumped if you use this method:

1. Activate HENkaku.
2. Insert the game cartridge.
3. Launch Vitamin v1.0 or v1.1 and dump the game.
4. Remove the cartridge.
5. Delete the game from the live screen.
6. Launch VitaShell and install the VPK.
7. Play!

I've heard reports that the 64 GB cards have issues, is this true? I would like to just get one large card as it only came with a 4 GB one.

So I rename a vpk to mp4 I transfer it to the vita with QCMA and then rename it to vpk and just click it to install
Afterwards I can delete the vpk and back up the installed game using QCMA
I can repeat this for every game until they are backed up to download at any time

Most a9lh setups just use sysnand because it simplifies DSiWare and GBA games, speeds up the system significantly and saves a significant amount of space on the SD card.

Of course, that's not to say you can't have an emunand. That's down to how you configure your CFW.

In my slim so far I've been able to do everything I wanted - copy ps3/ps2 backups, copy saves (downloaded from the web) and replace them, try out a few homebrew, ftp into it, and change every possible thing I wanted to change. What's so special about the DEX systems, other than the fact that you can downgrade and upgrade a will (though I don't see the point when you already have something like rebug + toolbox installed)?

The problem is that I can't find any 10.7 or lower downgrade (including the Homebrew installation).
That's the fucking problem, it doesn't even redirects to smealum's site to check for the exploits so you can at least install it by yourself, it used to have ALL what you need to do in one fucking page, now there are twenty-five (25) fucking pages. You have to lurk on all of them to find what you are looking for, and even that, I just found the >you need a way to access the Homebrew Launcher. The first fucking time it mentions HBL to downgrade.

I just wanted to know if you could downgrade the 10.7 by software and how to install the HBL to proceed to downgrade, etc. I haven't checked the guide since 10.4 boom.
