I wish that when you researched artifact power it would build up a second account-wide artifact knowledge bar as well. Obviously this second bar would fill much slower, maybe capping out at like 50% increased rate for new characters (that wouldn't stack with normal artifact knowledge of course)

Barrage has a weird interaction with the Marksmanship Mastery which causes both its range and cone to increase in size depending on how much Mastery you have (And Mastery is one of the better secondary stats for MM at the moment, so you will have quite a bit).

This means that Barrage currently has a bad habit of pulling shit through walls, out of your field of view and even shit flying way above you. People seem to think its a bug and the Hunter class forums are buzzing with complaints regarding it.

I also mained a Hunter in WoD (Since Cata actually) and while you can still position yourself properly and cast Barrage, it's very very inconsistent in its current state and even the most well-considered Barrage can ninjapull through the fucking terrain.

Nope. Only spec that is salvageable by tuning cast times, damage and fiddling with a few abilities is actually Demonology.
Destruction needs a complete overhaul, it is impossible to balance right now.
Neither is Affliction.

Destruction has issues with:
a) Shard generation
b) Garbage Bolt
c) Shitty mastery
d) Wreak Havoc

Shard generation cannot be upped, because Warlocks already stack tons upon tons of haste as Destro to circumvent shitty Immolate shard gen. Up the shard generation, haste-stackers will overcap 24/7 and launch Chaos Bolt trains.

Chaos Bolt cannot have higher damage because of the mastery, because of haste shard generation override and because of Wreak Havoc. Let's say a reasonably geared Warlock does 500k base damage with Chaos Bolt. This is actually pretty reasonable given it's cast time and resource cost, right? Well thanks to the mastery it's not, as with it at just 50% the Warlock will sometimes launch cataclysmic bolts of 750k damage and up, which is not okay. Which is why the base damage is so pathetic and why all Destro damage is actually balanced around some arbitrary and unknown Mastery %.

So if you up the damage on Chaos Bolt, the Warlocks who stack haste to override shard generation will get insanely broken as they will drop almost endless Chaos Bolt trains thus giving them a bigger chance of tossing high mastery rng bolts often.

And if the Warlock is specced into Wreak Havoc, he will do this to two targets. So the Warlock cannot have high and well-scaling single target damage, or else Wreak Havoc tears cleaves apart as he'll do twice the damage of everyone else.

Which is why replacing a consistently building resource and never touching the rest of the spec was a horrible fucking idea and Blizzard is absolutely retarded for doing this.

And then Affliction has issues with:

b) Lack of meaningful burst
c) Weak DoT's
d) Shit filler

Taking away any semblance of spell interaction and somewhat high damage filler from Affliction broke the spec completely, again.

If you up the DoT damage, Affliction will break every council fight. End of story, it will just wreck those and that's it. So we cannot up the DoT damage because of multidotting. This was addressed in earlier iterations by having the filler spell (first Shadow Bolt, then Malefic Grasp and Drain Soul) actually deal damage (Shadow Bolt in WotLK was around 40-50% of the Warlock's dps pre-execute on single target fights) and by giving Warlocks Haunt, which was a spell you put on one target due to cooldown and duration being tuned to just about replace the Haunt that's falling off, and upped DoT damage taken by the target by 30%. Also there was an interaction with the filler spell, with Shadow Bolt stacking a debuff that increased DoT damage taken and later Malefic Grasp/Drain Soul causing DoT spells on target to tick for X% of damage whenever it dealt damage.
Affliction was still very strong on cleaves and councils, but nowhere near broken (as UH DK's for example performed just as well if not better) and actually had meaningful and strong sustained ST damage, and a way to focus fire crucial adds.

This was taken away completely and replaced by shitty UA stacking mechanic which is basically the second coming of Vanilla Fire Mage's rolling ignites.

Shard generation once again won't be upped significantly, as then the Warlock once again can just put Agony on every higher hp target in sight and unload endless stacking UA's. If you're lucky with shards and have some haste you can already get UA stacks that crit for 800k. So imagine what'd happen if the Warlock had a steady stream of shards coming his way every 1-2s. He'd fucking break the boss with the UA stack unless it was capped at some arbitrary number.
