Cairngorgon appears in early 2nd generation.
There's time gap between 2nd gen to 3rd gen, about 30 years. Proof: Nekroz Ritual monster.
Early 3rd generation is where Pilica appears/born and El Shaddoll Fusion happens.
El Shaddoll Fusion is the one that starts war against Shaddoll.
Which means, there's no war before early 3rd generation.
So why would Nekroz Ritual Monster even exist? There's no enemies.

Chaos Hunter is another possible side, typically used by ABC to stop being System Downed but also has the benefit of stopping DDD players from extending their combos with the Slimes.

Oh sorry, Temujin was Genghis' original name. The reason you use Ghost Ogre on Genghis is because its typically the first combo extender they summon, in addition its the one that they need to summon for the most amount of combos, whether it be to summon Siegfried, Alexander, or Beatrice.

Best DD Crow target is Lamia if they discard it with Swirl Slime, but if they discard Necro Slime with Swirl Slime, then Swirl Slime is better if they used their normal summon on something like Kepler already. However, if they don't have their normal summon and discarded Swirl and Necro Slime, wait until they normal summon Lamia and Synchro with it before using DD Crow, then you can banish Lamia. This is assuming they summon Genghis off Swirl to extend their combo. If they summon Omega instead, just hold onto DD Crow for their next turn. If they summon Siegfried, at that point all 3 become equal targets to banish so wait until their next move and chain DD Crow to whatever they're trying to activate. The exception being Necro Slime. If they use Necro Slime, DD Crow Swirl Slime to force them to banish Necro and Lamia too.

I've heard that the malefic text is a condition that can't be negated, but evidently the rule is that skill drain stops it as long as whatever you are summoning doesn't forbid being summoned along with whatever is on the field.

even if you have a skill drain active and 1 malefic blue-eyes, you can't summon another malefic blue-eyes since the one in hand would "kick in" while it's being summoned and would not be able to resolve. I would have guessed the same to happen with paradox and parallel gear, but based on what I did it seems to not be the case.

There's only 4 Fusion card that Fuse from deck, Brilliant Fusion, Shaddoll Fusion, Red-eyes Fusion, and Future Fusion.
Generic approach for Fusion is Miracle Fusion, the one that fuse from grave.

That generic Xyz approach only make it good to turbo into that Xyz, not spam it.

There's also only few scale that search other scale. It's more like Pendulum Monster that search other Pendulum monster, since most of the time, the search effect is it's monster effect.
Metal's scale, for example, doesn't search other scale.

So I've found out that Rivalry, while still good, is no longer main deck material. Going back to the good old Macro/D. Fissure. Also backrow hate is stronger than ever with Cosmic Cyclone so I bumped Circuit back to 3 for now, might cut it back to 2 though because opening multiples really sucks.

He basically just at up 3 of the Spell negs (I didn't want to use the last Manju in hand, so I could make a 3-mat next turn.) and one from Diamond, so he could Pend 2 Thomas and make Kali Yuga. But since he actually left me the 1 Manju, I just banished MAR to protect Diamond. (He at first thought Kali Yuga's effect would stop it, but I and the judge explained how that works.) It was 100% anime luck and I couldn't have been happier.
