See they forgot to mention that assassination is also good in one other regard: giving your fingers a rest.

Outlaw has one of the highest number of actions per minute of any spec, especially once your haste goes up. Assassination has one of the lowest. Whenever you start getting cramps in your fingers, play assassination to just give yourself a break.

Subtlety's APM is currently nearly as high as outlaw's but in any case, just give your fingers rest so you don't get a repetitive stress injury.

I've been seriously enjoying death knight. In PvE I feel pretty good about unholy so far, no real weakness besides being so slow. Pvp is super fun as unholy. Frost feels underpowered as fuck and the artifact ability sucks

Is there some kind of off-spec artifact catch up mechanic? I want to switch to Arms after realising how terrible of an idea Fury was but I'm already 15 levels in.

Paladin is pretty cool, and I generally don't like healing. Lot's of interesting healing spells, especially the talents. Holy prism is a direct heal with aoe dmg if targeting an ally and a direct dmg spell with aoe healing if targeting an enemy. Another low-mana cost spell is one you put on an ally and it heals after like 3-5 seconds. Then you got "cone of holy" type of spell, you got your high mana cost direct heal and slow low mana cost direct heal. You got beacon of light buff which heals the one with the buff for 40% of all your healing done, holy shock (insta heal), different auras, blessing of protection and so on. The artifact ability is a bit boring but only because I probably don't know hot to use it. I also like it that you can reduce the amount of buttons on your hotbar if you want to by just picking lots of passive talents. Oh and then mastery is interesting (though old holy pallys hate it) - the closer you are to your target the more you get bonus to your heals. There's a talent though that makes this mastery apply to distance from yourself OR the beacon of light buff holder (usually the tank).

I think Holy is a bit more straightforward wack-a-mole but then again I haven't played it.

Yeah, your artifact knowledge research will slowly increase the amount of artifact power you get from items. Also the cost of putting more points into the same weapon increases constantly. You will literally be able to get enough power for the first 13 points in one world quest at the very end with max knowledge (will take months though).

yesterday i grinded 8 heroics in a row with my guildmates, not a single piece of usable gear dropped. despite having ilvl 821, which is below average for heroics, in total i probably did around 13 heroics coupled with some world quests and suramar questing. for a total upgrade of 2 points. if these two trinkets would have been usable so would i have gone up to 827

Hey guys, I played this game for 6 years total but recently took a 2 years long break.

Would anyone be so kind and answer 2 quick questions for me?

1. How are discipline priests nowadays? both in pve and pvp. Playable and useful? How about shadow?

2. This might sound very stupid, but how healers are supposed to do quests without damage spells? I generally played mmos where healers have some damaging spells to do quests. Am I forced to run dungeons to level up and ignore all quests? Or am I supposed to respect for questing and respec again if I want to heal dungeons, effectively having to carry 2 sets of gear?

Disc is alright, holy is better desu. And you can level as a healing spec. You'll never die, but killing shit will be kinda slow. Frankly, you can just level as shadow and use your shadow gear to heal. Normal dungeons are super easy, so unless you're completely retarded the differences in what stat the specs want won't matter.

Well, dual spec came in 2009. It was removed in Legion and now you can respec anywhere free of cost, as long as it's a rested area (like a city or an inn)

I used to use a profile for farming from honorbuddy that would go around zones and look for the nodes and then fish from the, but now im playing a new char I just want to level fishing, since you can fish actual good fish from all waters now, so I just need something to cast and collect

This has gone too far. I can't believe how unplayable this class has become. A main for over 9 years and I've never seen the class this low. Not sure what to do, won't be resubbing though. so they put up the barrier to wall off their city from the rest of the world and demon invasion, but when they walled off the city they also blocked out sun and moonlight which powered them, so they had to drink the mana stuff and get addicted.

Now the demon have convinced the leaders to lower the barrier (they are now constantly guarding the edges too, this is even mentioned by NPCs)

so why the fuck do they need the mana if they lowered the barrier so sun and moonlight can get in
