you're forgetting, selling 2 dragonlances only cost you like 1800 gold in total, aghs, boots/pt, blink and 2 dragonlances make you MUCH stronger than if you're trying to farm 2 ultimate orbs for skadi or an ultimate orb + mystic staff for a hex.
if you ever die (and if you are farming as aggresive as you should with meepo in order to not hug the farm that your team also needs), then you are very likely to die once or twice unless steamrolling.
dragonlance costs less than 2 k and gives 28 stat(the int on skadi and hex is p useless), less than 4 k for 56, compared to skadi that costs like 5.5 k and gives 50 relevant stats, or eblade which also gives 50.
when ghost scepter gave +10 stats I saw many meepo players fill their slots with 1-2 ghost scepters just for the cost efficient stat and then sell for skadi/hex and turn one of them into eblade just because its so cheap.
hell, even dragonlance can be built into hurricane pike so you have a way to pop linkens before hexing or save a meepo that is being focues, and of course the general utility that is in forcestaff for plays on your allies if need be.
tl;dr its some cheap ass easily built stats and you have the slots for it.

Hurricane pike is fine, gives attack speed and sick stats and OD has melee attack range so the reach helps, also helps with the fact he has no escape, but often Lance is enough and Pike slows down important items too much

Veil boosts nothing worth skilling, only take it if your team has a magic heavy draft or the enemy has an extremely low int draft. You should generally never skill your ult until you have to, nor should you skill your banish beyond 1. Ult only works at the end of teamfights when you'd only need it at the beginning, banish gains nothing worth having by levels. And nuOD desperately wants the stats he was robbed of anyway.

I have an album of my our pictures of my father and there comes this day that his life was taken.

I decided to look at the folder where I kept our family pictures to have another glimpse of him when suddenly, I remembered that my phone got a virus that slowly deletes files bit by bit.

There's nothing left on the folder aside from files named "Cmra~//237" and 4 another with the same format.
I looked at the video album and same thing is done. Files named "541~/./3" just slapped my emotions out.

There's no way I could recover those files and I just keep on imagining them throughout my head.
I was so happy I learned how to play dota and escape depression during this days.

I will miss my dad and I hoped I spent more time with him. Well.. Dota's annoyingly fun game anyway.

Is Meepo's design bad?

He has incredibly farm speed in addition to incredible scaling, is strong at every point in the game, and has basically unrestricted boots of travel use. This comes at the cost of being fragile, being unable to properly use most items, and potentially losing a game by dying a single time.

The combination of being fragile and throwing a game from one death seems like the swingy-ness is just too much.

Either play a ranged hero that has strong enough right clicks to actually kill him or pick someone with spells that kill him. Don't pick crystal maiden and expect to pressure him out of lane.

Omniknight or dazzle can easily kill axe early game if he tries to cut your lane. Dazzle can deal 320 damage at level 1 with shadow wave hitting 3 of your lane creeps. Omni will take a couple levels to hit that hard but he deals pure damage.

Other good choices are skywrath as your spam can outdamage his regen, Bane so you can just nightmare him and let your creeps walk by him, Timbersaw with pure damage and Viper if you want to just right click him to death with no problem whatsoever.
