I doubt they'll add any new weapons in the next expansion. Some of the weapons we already have are severely underused, like axe and pistol. I would imagine they would focus more on expanding the roles of existing weapons with future elite specializations.

Just started playing again with an i5 6500/380 4GB @ 1080p. When fully maxed I get above 60fps but in WvW and world bosses I drop to around 20-30fps. Which settings would make the biggest difference so I can as close to 60 as possible in WvW and world bosses?

It's simply because of the number of player models. You'll always have an impact even with a top computer in those situation.

Reduce the model limit for more performance. Shadows and reflections are also big hitters if you don't mind losing fidelity.

I keep ignoring people as a 'weapon' so they'll either pay more attention to me or feel bad for supposed bad things they have done. I do this in relationships too.

Case in point, my guild mates are hanging out with my ex tonight (we're in the same friendship group) and when my guild mate asked how i felt I just told her I felt shit and I'm sick of being left out and I want to kill myself and then turned my phone off and closed the discord. Honestly, I genuinely hope she feels really horrible. And that's so nasty I'm such a horrid person. Not to mention petty.

I'd enjoy going on adventures with Ooth and I have no problems being appropriately forward with my IGN, but I've lost all real interest in GW2 and it would be unfair to him. I think its fun theres no loading screens and its one big map, I like to explore and take screenshots and work on the different lifeskills(cooking, fishing, gathering, theres som other ones too), I also find the combat enjoyable even if I mostly grind to for more xp and ignore the pvp parts

theres a bunch of aspects to the game from lots of quests to do, node management which is spreadsheet fags wetdream, and both leveling up your character and lifeskills which is fun to work on since you do have invest time for progress, even if its afk time which is cool to me

the rp is pretty lame, but the game would make for some good lewdventures just from how pretty it looks and the details put into the world, the emotes are garbage though

my only goals are just leveling up the arbitrary stats on my character page really(pic related), and making sure I have enough ingame silver to purchase any cashshop outfits that come out

I think my character looks super cute which helps a lot too

the p2w actually is not that bad, it would be like gw2 only letting you convert gems to gold for 20g/$150 a week max, (or 5 items in general max but the other exchange rates are actually worse, also if you try to post a 6th cashshop item on the marketplace it tells you to wait until the next week rolls over, also if your item doesnt sell and you need to repost it for some reason, that counts as one of your five posts that week), thats really how bad the conversion rate is, and only really gouges whales or those so desperate to spend $10 for 1hour of grinding(or about 5mil in bdo terms)which you dont get xp when you 'p2w' so you still have to grind eventually anyway whether you have the money or not

so to sum it up, only whales and those in top guilds where they force you to be competitive in the top 5% use the p2w features, the other 95% of the playerbase take adventage of the cashshop items being able to be bought with ingame monies

My take on this game as of now:

>Had fun exploring the maps for the first times I was in them all
>Combat mechanics felt fun
>Art style is pretty
>Did not like spvp or the ranking system and stopped at diamond
>WvW felt like running around and doing nothing with random fights here and there
>Fractals aren't so hard but the agony resistance concept seemed kinda dumb
>Raids were pretty neat and it was easy to get into them since my guild was kind enough to teach me mechanics
>Never really did dungeons because I started after they died so I can't say much about them


So the only complaints I really have about this game seems to be their giant emphasis on their gemstore and the shortness of HoT for its price. I don't like the masteries concept even though I maxed them out. I don't like structured PvP because it feels like its trying to compete with mobas and I don't like doing meta maps like Tarir or Bloodstone Fen over and over again.


Would you guys say this is a fair assessment? I didn't really trash on much

Why are there so many condition necros running warhorn with their scepter these days? Maybe it's just a preference thing but I like using the dagger on my build. Blindness+condition transfer on each bounce is pretty cool and AoE weakness ain't half bad either.

You should try dungeons they're not really dead, they're just a bit harder to pug because everyone wants "exp". I've been running them with a different guildies and friends every now and then who don't mind my inexperience. And they're actually a really nice format, if they'd developed dungeons more over fractals I think they game would be even better and I think it's pretty great already. Like dungeons are basically dungeons you know in other games, a kind of story, long sprawling paths.

The only issue is that the fights aren't hard at all, if they've revamped dungeon bosses like with fractals. Added new dungeons in HoT. One can only dream.

I was speaking of how guild missions yield predictable numbers of a specific currency which convert directly to particular rewards. That's just not a You're right, however, timegates are a mortal sin against fun. The problem with gw2 is that there's nothing to fucking do, so anet has to disguise it behind waiting. Moreover, if anet adds any new content, they have to perpetuate that waiting system by linking that content to a brand new, content/event specific currency because the game has already been played to death and everyone has a surplus of the old currencies now. Anet needs to make maxed gear acquisition as it was at launch, but in doing so they would only urther expose themselves as the content design and implementor hacks that they are.

Very few, because when the methods get made public anet tends to close them. That_Shaman has a couple, though I'd only really trust the Hall of Monuments break because bullshit like abusing how blinks work is very hard for Anet to fix and I also doubt they even remember the HoM exists half of the time.

Just keep in mind there isn't a strict holy trinity in gw2. There's a soft trinity for group content like raids but even then you have some leeway.

Forgot to mention that my previous account the one that got perma'd wasn't a f2p account.
Had several legendaries, fully upgraded home instance, fully unlocked bankspace, all classes on 80 with 100% world completion and full inventory space unlocked, lots of ascended armor and weapons, expensive skins unlocked, legendary pvp backpiece, living season 1 & 2 fully completed over 30k acc points + titles and over 10k play time etc. etc. all that got perma banned because some crybaby in PvP who couldn't even play his class got butthurt over a little 'shitter'

Salvage everything, low level crafting mats are valuable.
