Its about the gold man, the current meta is the most optimatized model for every team member farming gold. You might be able to duo top and 1 person bot, but that leaves drag vulnerable. The only time no Jg has ever worked is to rush an early win kamikaze style and snowball to victory, but this wont work if the teams are even.

The most you can do is unconventional laners like Nasus mid or Tank/Assassins bot.

I play morde all the time, his skills are fine. The XP passive is completely unnecessary because no one runs him bot anymore, and the dragon is just a stupidly strong ability on a >6min cd depending if your team can get your team together or not.

Nasus gets shit on for the first 15 minutes of the game, occasionally can shit on other champs for 15-25 minutes (but there are plenty of exceptions), and then gets absolutely shat on for 25+ minutes onward.

In Silver, that 10 minute window lasts 3-4 times as long because of how shit everyone's decision making, farming, and pushing is.

Yorick by design will be a major splitpushing threat and has outstanding damage if he can get ghouls up and has fantastic peel with his literal jarvan ult on W. Not to mention not having shit base MS and having innate MS boosts in his kit along with a slow.
