There was the first Jap patch that nerfed FUGS into the ground, and the first post-international launch that buffed greatswords along with some other things and later the MLGS.

Man I remember back in the Dark Souls 2 days complaining during the wait for the DLCs that From wasn't patching shit enough and made some stupid balancing decisions but in comparison to what we're getting now those were a godsend in that they actually attempted to deal with over-dominating weapons. If we're not getting a general rebalancing patch on the level of the first Sunken King patch by the time of the DLC I don't know what to think with this game.

they're C while the dark scalings are D, but the dark base damage is much higher, so its scalings works better anyway

Sorry I forgot the Demon's Fist had no Dex scaling. You will want at least 40 STR still though because the Fists have most of their damage in physical. Depending on what SL you're going for just spare what you can in INT/FAI but it really won't add too much, 40/40 in both only adds a little over 40 AR in fire damage which isn't much. But you'll want 40/40 physical if you want to optimize the Dark Hand's 'damage' though you will never hit anyone with it at the SL needed for it as the Dark Hand works best as a twink weapon.

A heavy Mace+10 at 45 strength clocks in at 403 AR.

A heavy Morning Star+372 at 45 strength clocks in at 372 AR however it also builds bleed.

Considering I plan on making a Paladin build, I.E. Lightning weapon and health regen, which is the better weapon to use?

I'm running a morningstar bleed build right now and it's honestly not that bad. With carthus rouge I can proc bleed pretty consistently. I'm still leveling and going through the game though, so I dont know how effective it'll be in pontif duels.

Plus, morningstar looks way cooler than mace.

Guys, rate this low level invader build.

Should I collectors edition some siegbrau or do you reckon I'd be able to get enough Estus shards and undead bone shards by the time I get to the abyss watchers that chugging would actually heal me properly.

Also, I reckon the raw Man Serpent Hatchet+2 cranks out over 185 AR judging by its +2 uninfused output.

The plow is mainly for chasing down hosts as often, early game has newbie players being guided by their 2 veteran-ish friends.

I think this build could shred motherfuckers. Also, rate the fashion souls.

You got your pokes and hyper armor trades, you got your R2 roll catches, you got your damage with heavy infusion, you got your big fast cheese dinner Greataxe 1H R1s that everyone falls for because they don't know just how fast they come out. Hell you can drop the Knights ring and still have 27 STR but I wouldn't since mixing it up with the one handed moves is very effective in invasions.

Haven't optimized fashion for this build yet but these two weapons are really fun together.

Ah but my friend, you begin to see the methodical insanity of my art. I won't be using the Lucerne with my tearstone Rings. I'll be using perseverance on my morning star! A well timed perseverance with tears of denial will pretty much guarantee me at least a four hit combo and carry me through the first 2 traded hits. With a raw infusion and the 20% damage buff from the red tearstone, that'll usually take away enough health that they'll either die or back the hell up giving me time to chug or pursue with with Lucerne(Depending on if my ToD activated in the process).

Besides, the ancient dragon shield is terribly unfashionable.

How the fuck am Isupposed to win against a half decent Astora GS or spears and halberd/glaive when I'm using a greatsword?

Consider this. Cheat Engine can locate the values that determine the status of a certain object within the game. That object can be anything. So, anything that exists within the game only and is not affected by external sources is liable to be fucked up by ce. One could probably even mod the game in a way other people could see, although my guess is that would be of great effort since you'd either have to locate the desired addresses each time or figure out the way they are assigned. So, noone can fry your computer, but if they call kill all the enemies and npcs in the area. Others that haven't yet loaded should be impervious though

They are affected by time's convolution

When enemies are unrendered because you aren't looking at them and they're jumping, the default location for them to reappear is your location. This is why dogs are the most likely to teleport like this, but this has also happened with hollows for me when they were falling off of ledges and stuff. It's not intentional.

I also think this is why you get those crazy camera shifting when you turn corners and it fucks you up.

I'm not sure if this is correct but consider this.

So I just replayed DS2 for the third time and I went to Throne of Want as soon as i finished memories and I already got the ending. Didn't know that you can finish the game without killing Vendrick. Why the fuck do you collect the 4 souls to make him easier to kill if you don't need to kill him, you only need Giant's Kinship?

Never played a Souls game. I recently finished a no-summons play through when the self loathing got too great.

Was awesome. I loved Nameless King, the Dancer, DS Armor and Old Demon King.

How would one fix the linearity issue? Looking at the map it looks pretty well constructed, and how you can see both your previous levels and all the levels to follow pretty much everywhere is impressive. But then when one goes through it it's really just one road connecting one to another.

There is a few places where they went out of their way to interconnect different levels with each other, but then just left out the shortcut. The elevator in Farron Keep brings you back up next to Undead Settlement, but the bridge is broken and the location serves as nothing but a neat detail. After suffering through Demon Ruins you can see Irithyll Dungeon, but the only point that trip really served was getting to shut down that stupid catapult. I assume if the Dungeon is that close, then so is Profaned Capital. If right next to the catapult there was an alternate route to Profaned Capital, don't you think it would have made the Smouldering Lake trip much more rewarding?

I've come to terms with a lot of DS3's flaws but this one still bothers me, because the potential is clearly there. They simply just didn't go for it, for whatever reason.

that's pretty much all that can be said. since the teleportation is available immediately, there is very little use for a well-connected world like it is in das1(which is probably what the devs were thinking when the made the map). the problem is that since they designed the world map around teleportation, everything is linear since you dont need interesting shortcuts to other parts of the map, but that also means less opportunities for sequence breaking or really just interesting paths. you would need to redesign the entire world map to fix that.

What off hand shouls I use if I intend to use bleeding hollow twinblades?
