So I took a look at hp and defense values of r8 mobs. Mdef increase a lot for elite, most seem to have 3k or over it and 500k+ HP, but there arent many of those outside ET. Special mobs are far more numerous but those have around 1k mdef, not reaching 1400, with 300-480k hp. Who cares about normal mobs, they have under 200k hp. Interestingly enough, def/mdef ratio is no higher than 1/2; I think the highest value for def is a bit over 1k

Blood Curse doesn't even have an attribute yet, though it will get one, like every damage skill ended up receiving. It's a very different type of skill, but ultimately the Blood Curse will only get better because INT bonuses(transposed into CON) will keep going up by ridiculous margins while Frost Cloud gets more and more irrelevant.

Not to mention Featherfoot can fly and become immune to most stuff, or immune to everything when paired with the Sage cheesy buff.

Horse cock is just aesthetically the best club, I'd get it if I were you just because of how majestic it is. It's also the best magic attack booster at level 170 and remains better than the 220 rods unless they've been enhanced.

In all honesty though the cock is not the best thing for your monk and you're better off putting that money into +10ing a suncus or getting a higher phys attack weapon to use. The extra hp is nice though. It's really up to you but not really worth getting if you don't use magic attacks.

BloodBath is a nuke that comes together with a skill that gives you the ability to negate all of the most common forms of ground control. None of those videos shows the radius of the explosion well, but it seems good enough for me to use.

All these Dex vs Str posts deserve some actual context. Let's compare an archer with swift step and standard crit equips + green gems against ID:58552 (just the highest level normal mob in the KR DB thus far)

Str with give you more expected damage than Dex until skill damage >5500. Mixed ratio of 200 str / 150 dex will beat both until 11000 after which full dex will dominate.

However, the mixed stat (200/150) will stay within 2k expected damage of full dex until 40,000 skill damage. Full str drops away much more significantly.

The only situation where full dex really draws away from mixed stat is if the crit resist (con) of the monster is really high (above 250) since that drops all the crit rate gained from equips + green gems. However you could say the same for situations where the mob has >1000 defense, although to a lesser extent.

200/150 is not the optimal distribution, it's just to show how mixed stats still keep up. The main reason is that crit rate suffers from diminishing returns due to how it affects actual crit chance so more dex becomes less valuable the more you have of it.

Cannon C2 is definitely among the weakest, but I am pretty confident it'll be one of the best C3 classes. I also predict Cannon C2 will get buffed a lot. The classes that seem to have been fucked over the most are Warlock C2, Necro C3, and maybe Enchanter. Falconer looks bad at first but it still fills it's primary role: Improving your ability to do damage with the rest of your kit. Whatever you pick at R9 will massively benefit from Falconer.

Then you have the R2~R7 classes what didn't get any good synergy with anything. Corsairs and Sorcerers being the biggest victims.

A few things to consider when you're making a build.

1: Archer.

Crit is life and almost nothing beats Swift Step´'s attribute. You have literally 2 options: Archer 2 or Rogue 1 at some points of your life, even on Wugushi builds. So, do you want to give up your r2 rank or a r5 one? Of course, you can take a2 / rogue 1 whenever you feel good about it, but seriously, consider Swift Step +25% critical rate will never falls of. On top of that, Multi-shot 10 e still a good skill even at 280 and this ain't changing much in 330, also, it makes evasion viable without too much investment in cause of str hungry builds that packs some dex.

Ranger 1: Steady aim is another futureproof buff that, besides recent nerfs, still works nicely for when you need that boost and also works great with some support, and krivis 3 is becoming more and more popular now after ET and Taioist. Barrage + Feint from rogue is also amazing, some builds can pack this two ranks together and both works nicely to improve your further ranks dps. Hakkapelle arrow stacking shit kinda enjoys barrage too.

I considered a lot how to simplify the math so it would still be mostly readable and settled on fixed STR and DEX values at their max (350 each: 330 from levels and 20 from bonus points).

Assume you have the following equips as an archer: Manamana (+35 CritRate), 2xSissel (+37 CritRate ea.), Virtov gloves (+18 CritRate) because you want some accuracy over the Red Veris to compensate. Assume you slotted the Crossbow & Manamana with lv6 Green Gems. That's 106 crit rate from gems and 127 from the equips for a total of 233 crit rate. the base archer stats are 11 str and 9 dex.

The crit rate for full dex with swift step up and +233 crit rate gear is:
42*(1.25*((350 + 85 + (350-300)/2) + 9 + 330/5 + 233) - 32)/330 = 118.11

Since max is 100% crit chance, that's 100% crit chance.

The crit rate for full strength is:
42*(1.25*(9 + 233 + 330/5) - 32)/330 = 44.93%

Therefore with a Kracked Shooter (330 dmg), the expected damage based on skill damage (SkillDmg + Str + Lvl + WepDmg - Def) is:

Full Dex: (SkillDmg + 317)*1.5 + 11 = 1.5*SkillDmg + 486.5
Full Str: ((SkillDmg + 1099)*1.5 + 793)*0.4493 + (SkillDmg + 1099)*(1-0.4493) = 1.22465*SkillDmg + 1702.19

So Full Dex overtakes Full Str in skill damage when SkillDamage > 4,415
It's less for non-archers due to lacking the Lvl/5 crit rate bonus and Swift Step

The main reason Str is okay is because of the double-dipping on Critical hits and the fact that Swift Step + Crit from equips allows Full Str to crit sometimes. For reference, Total Str is 2.55*StrInvested - 110.5 at Rank8. As a result, each point into Str gives you 6.375 damage on crit and 2.55 normally. With a base crit chance due to Swift Step + Equips + Gems of 44.93%, that's an expected 4.27 damage per point in Str assuming you've activated the bonus points with 301+ Str.

This mixed stat (173/177) is better than Full Str when SkillDmg > 2434, and Full Dex beats it at SkillDmg > 7889.

At 5,500 skill damage, the expected damage of FullStr, Mixed, and FullDex respectively is: 8,437.765 / 8,975.4 / 8,736.5
Setting the largest as 100, the ratios are: 94, 100, 97

At 11,000 skill damage, the expected damage is: 15,173.34 / 16,675.4 / 16,986.5
Ratios are: 89, 98, 100

At 40,000 skill damage, the expected damage is: 50,688.19 / 57,275.4 / 60,486.5
Ratios are: 84, 95, 100

Those are my worked examples. The ratio shifts more in favor of mixed stat the more free Dex or Crit Rate you have. You can get that from headgear, top/pants/boots, weapon, cards, etc. The point is that it is technically true full Dex is better than full Str once skill damage gets high, but context is important.
