It's not too hard. First you gotta know what ya like to do. Then you find other people interested in doing that stuff. Then over time, once they get to know you, you can build up your friendship and play more frequently together once you know each others schedules and if you guys click with each other.

easiest way to make friends is to find a guild with players you get along with and share similar wow goals as you. then just do shit with them. raids, dungeons, quests, whatever.

It's impossible to stay indefinitely in it, the rate that insanity drains is always increasing.

Watched heaps of vids about spriest during beta and they said in the first raid tier a good player can expect to stay in it for 2-3 mins (3 mins being nigh impossible without godlike rng)

Yeah rushing for the gold is usually the best if it is a big dps boost like goldrin's wolf for druid. after 6k i think it goes to 8 then 10

So with the Legion scaling, I understand how it works from a damage and tanking perspective in that, you deal damage to a mob its scaled to your level and the percentage of its health you would deal is dealt to it, so a 102 can effectively do the same damage as a 109. Similarly the tanks take damage from mobs equal to their level. But with healers you get no scaling? So a 100 healer and a 110 tank will actually put the healer at a pretty significant disadvantage, because they're healing damage from a 110 mob, in theory the tank should be picking up most of the slack as they're also 110 and should be mitigating most of it, but if you have a bad tank who doesn't mitigate (read most LFG tanks) you have to heal through pretty stupidly high damage, they should have just integrated the damage scaling into healing, so you heal your allies for a certain % and their health pools all appear scaled to you.

we have found a way to gain 20 Artifact Power in 2-3 Minutes (depends on your DPS).

There are World Quests active as soon as you get Level 110.
One of those is called "WANTED: Devouring Darkness" in Highmountain.
Simply start the Quest, its in a cave in Highmountain, simply kill the Quest Mob and use the Artifact Power Item you received.
After using the Artifact Power on your Weapon relog and the Quest should pop up again.
Rinse an repeat.

Not really. Not everyone wants to kill you or spawncamp you forever. I've always played on pvp servers and almost never get into fights. Though at max level there are always some fun to be had. But why not just make it on a balanced server like that one there or go on a horde server if you're so worried?

if a server is split evenly between factions you are basically just restricting yourself from half the players. If you are a guild recruiting members then you can only possibly advertise to half. When it comes to meeting players in the world server pop has almost nothing to do with it if you are worried about world pvp or something. For example I'm on sargeras which is one of the biggest alliance servers on US. I can see players from mal'ganis and Illidan, 2 really big horde servers so it ends up there is more horde than alliance on my battlegroup.

Most likely, if a server is dominated by multiple enemy faction players that means that it is easy to get to one that will gank you even when leveling since:
No fear of counterattack since there are not many members of your faction around
His faction can help him if they see you and gank you

Due to that advantage i really wouldnt roll as a minority faction on a server, at least more balanced ones have a smaller chance of them attacking you since there is the fear of counter attack.

Even at my server though where horde technically dominates i died once to some bad frost mage with a shaman healer since people like that who level together are usually the kind of person that needs to feel better by 2v1ing.

I added her on my kill list and found her alone in suramar, she died twice ;^)

I'm getting fucking slaughteted in PvP as Enhancement Shaman. Mostly by ranged classes.

I use every tool available to me to stop slow/stun so I can close the gap and apply frostbrand, but it just seems like they have an infinite arsenal of stuns, slows and snares.

I'm even dwarf with stone skin and still can't close the gap.

Am I missing something? This has happened to me mostly against Hunters and Mages.

BrM would level just as fast as WW, MW would be slower. You get the other Artifacts at 102 (and I recommend getting them asap as the quests give experience and they scale to your level meaning they are easier at 102 than 110) Then you can just equip them when you want to consume artifact power and continue leveling as whatever spec is easiest.

just make sure you plan your route correctly before spending points. shit gets really expensive later, and having points in shit you don't need right away will fuck over your dps.

Mastery is really sad because it only increase damage of starsurge/empowerements/starfall aoe.
Yet a big part of damage comes from new moon, fury of elune, dots, those things arent affected by mastery but are affected by haste, more dot damage, more ap generation etc.
Even the golden goldryn trait is fixed damage so starsurges still hit for pretty good damage without mastery

Its not about playing whats op/fotm though. Historically the pure dps classes have always excelled at doing their jobs. It's always rogues/hunters/mages/locks competing for the top spots. It used to be warrior back in vanilla and wotlk but not anymore.
