Anyone else getting consistent game crashes?

It seems like in a ranked match, if it goes to 4-4 overtime, at least every single person on the team has had their game crash at some point in the match.

Not disconnects, because we're all still in party voice chat and everything is fine. Just the game simply crashes.

Has anyone ever used the select fire on certain guns? I feel like that unless the gun is restricted to single, I never switch. Not even the weurd burst fire. Example: one time as thermite i switched to single for this long range engage. Then when it got close i forgot to switch and almost got fucked over. I probably would have done better just burst firing at that long engage.

Place her traps by windows not near the objective that you'd expect them to jump through, under barbwire and behind shields on the objective as well.

Put traps where people are unlikely to look down. Inside of windows where they drop down on the other side of a ballistic shield they'll vault over is usually a safe bet. Barbed wire works well too, but they might try and destroy it and see your trap. Pay attention to the colour of the floor as well, similarly to how Kapkan's traps are better when the interior of a room is mostly red/light brown (train museum comes to mind) which makes it harder to see his lasers, Frost's traps work better on dark floors, like storage rooms and the basement on house.

As for weapons, her shotgun used to be GOAT but has had a big nerf recently, but her SMG is consistently good still, with easily manageable recoil.

I've been doing this recently during my booster.

>set up protect hostage, realistic on favelas
>pick 1F aunt's apartment
>pick tachanka, set up turret so you can see both stairways
>barricade upstairs so that you hear when they're coming left
>use barbed wire on the floor so you know when they're coming right

Without fail the AI will use these two routes, they might jump through the window to the left but it's just as easy to kill them cause you can hear them rappelling. Without a booster you might not get as much but I was getting 150 in about 3 minutes, and if you survive till the longer waves you get like 350+ in a pretty short amount of time compared to playing casual or ranked. Using the turret also nets you more score per kill.

It's also quite fun trying to win on realistic, I managed to get to round 4 but the AI is actually quite smart sometimes, they hide behind walls and jump out at extremely inconvenient times meaning you get aimbotted and fucked.

This is only if you want to play the game and earn renown though, the afk method is probably better. It's fun though.

No, I am not saying that.
What I am trying to say is that the RS series was, to a remarkable extent, different from your usual team based CT vs Terrorist FPS.

I'm not making a statement about either type of FPS here, but Rainbow Six always meant somewhat realistic shooter action with a slow paced gameplay that allowed you to actually think things through and come up with a PLAN that you could operate on.
The games were about timing, making the best use of the map and your array of grenades and people knowing when to do what.

I am aware that these qualities have slowly diminished over the last Rainbow games, but now it looks like 10 people running around like coked up spastics, "scanning" walls and blowing away enemy players through said walls with magic grenade portals.
Also, flashbang-shields.


Again, the game might have its qualities, but why they branded this a Rainbow Six game is beyond me.

In regard to the "magic grenade portals" and "flashbang shields", alot of the unique gadgets are something that Operator developed and created their self but none of them are somthing that impossible to replicate in real life, nor a particularly bad idea. Many of the Operators are listed as highly intelligent and resourceful in order to make these things.
The "grenade portal" for example is Fuze's Cluster Charge, which has 4 puck shaped explosive charges. He attaches it to a soft wall made out of either wood or dry wall and it drills a hole through the wall. When he triggers it with a detonator it shoots out the pucks through the hole it drilled.
