Holy fucking shit, I just saved my own ass. Apparently they reworked sensitivity values at some point and I was unaware this whole time? It used to be 1-10, now it's 1-100. I play on PS4 and am pretty heavy on the analog sticks so I played at a 4-4 but since the rework, it had me on 27-27 which was horrible for me. I put it to 20-20 and now I'm back to my old self.

That's what I get for taking a month off I guess, miss out on shit that happens.

Here's a suggestion for how Ubi can improve Tachanka.

Increase his speed.
Make his gadget have actual worth behind being a stationary gun, give it a 'suppression' effect similar to RO2's suppression system where it makes it harder for them to aim and see.

I'd just say fix how the sentry works. It requires too much space to be put down and can't rotate a full 360 degrees. It can already suppress great if you fire in short, varying length bursts, and as far as defenders go, his weapons aren't bad. But actually getting on the sentry is just a death trap, has you in full profile but with the turning speed of prone, and if someone pops up outside of your 180 field of view you're dead meat.

Shield's should take 40% less damage when facing a nitro cell. Full damage if it lands within 1m.

Montagne's Expand facing a nitro should be like 60% or some shit and his right click should be a bash instead of a zoom-in.

Technically BB is a shield operator its been mentioned but ubisoft balances ops in a certain level system


Blackbeard is level 1 since shield only blocks his face not his entire body

Blitz is level 2 his shield blocks a good chunk of his body but still gas exposed areas

Montage is level 3 since his shield can block his entire body


This sort of makes sense on paper but currently not in practice

Lads why does shotgun recruit seem to work so well? Defenders brains seem to be turned off for the first 20 seconds after prep phase is done so I either get 4 kills then die or run into a kapkan trap / barbed wire and get gunned down. You answered your own question. One of the most fascinating aspects of this game is the adaptability of the playerbase to recurring themes/strategies.

The playerbase gradually reacts to everything over time and the game changes as a whole with every advancement. There's always new wrinkles being added/removed and there's always people trying to stay one step ahead.

One thing I can say for certain is that since the shotty and Pulse nerf, the game is much more bearable. It doesn't feel like defense is overpowered as shit anymore. The only thing holding this game back right now is BB, his blatant OPness has existed for too long, he needs to be nerfed already.
