Cross-realm works like this. Doesn't matter which server you're on besides the AH economy and guild. You can interact with other players cross-server for pretty much everything else.

So far, I would say that Legion is a further improvement in the questing department, quests are fun, they're varied, unique objectives, lots of cutscenes and lore. Pretty nice.

I need all mine for some order hall quest.
Need to do 4 missions that each take 8 - 16 hours, so I want to do as many at once as possible.

So there is pretty much no point in playing if you have no friends to play with.

You get fucked so hard for not having a circlejerk of butt-buddies its ridiculous. People got to 110 while I was still 107 even though I played non-stop since the moment the game unlocked, simply because they had le frendz to blow through all the quests with. And now they're all plowing through mythic dungeons while I have to do worthless fucking heroics. They dont even allow people without a dick rider crew to even try mythics with the LFD tool either so youre shit out of luck.

And good luck making friends in the game now because no one fucking socializes at all like they used to. I used to have no problems making friends in vanilla but now its pretty much impossible.

So basically, I'm fucked and theres nothing I can do about it. I'll just get left in the dust by everyone because I have no friends to play with. Like adding insult to injury "lol you have no friends haha, here were going to make it so not only do you not have friends but you dont get to do shit either. No fiendless people allowed to play our game :)"

Honestly, the fact that they didn't change the core way WoW plays makes it horrendously boring still even at launch. Get a quest, kill 6 of these, collect 7 of these, repeat. Over and over and over, maybe a vehicle quest where you spam 1 or a dialogue quest where you follow a slow npc. The "lore" is the only part that's mildely interest, but you read that so it's not engaging at all. Even dungeons are the same. I recently did halls of valor and it felt horribly dull. You use the same skills over and over for aoe and different ones over and over for single target. Kill this pack of trash, this pack of trash, interrupt that, kill some boss, don't stand in that, done. I have no idea how I once enjoyed this shallow, extremely easy, repetitive and boring game. How does anyone force themselves to play something so unfun?
