They're probably frost or arcane, which are both absolute shit.
The top DPS in >every< dungeon encounter that I have done has been me (Enh sham) followed by the tank, literally every time.
Prot pallies pull some fucking ridiculous AoE damage and even respectable single target damage.

The jump from Azsuna > Val'Sharah> Stormheim wasn't really super noticeable to me, they were all solid zones. But Highmountain was really a pretty big let down from the zones before it. The art is cool and pretty, but the storyline and the quests are 2/10 boring shit

Warlocks are really freaking fun to play, have very cool artifacts, and the questlines are pretty dope for them. The voice acting is really good on my part too. Warlock start off is seeming the best so far compared to others. Although I don't like how they (The Black Harvest) didn't recognize my title, green fire enfusement and asked if I knew what happened to Ebonlocke (I fucking killed him and we banished his soul). I did that shit when it first came out in MoP and purp and blue PvP gear. Took me over 30 tries but I got it and it was the most challenging fun thing in WoW since BC raiding. they should hvae made me overlord of the black harvest then. lol but of course when taking the scepter from Gul'dan he noted "ah a hero i have seen many meddling times, come to join the winning side?" then says "AH even the slayer of archimonde comes to serve us" and expresses that my betrayal is a liked trait in me and that killing archimonde made him sort of happy. Then you literally stop the legion from doing a full invasion and ripping azeroth apart with the book of medivh, scepter and eye.

Yeah that's right. Warlocks, the most despised classes in WoW lore, saved the planet by a lone warlock standing in fron the gate in front of thousands of demons, and stealing sargeras' scepter. Normal dungeons are adjusted to level.

So if your lvl is low but ilvl high (as most people who've been raiding HFC's is/was) then you'll comparatively do much better than someone of high ilvl, even though they're doing much more actual damage than you are.

Doesn't help that the Ring is basically useless once you get to 109/110, but still pretty broken up to 105.

Some artifact quests are overtuned.

Fire Mage and Frost Mage were easy as the respective specs, but holy shit Arcane Mage was cancerous.

The pillars of creation quests(end of zone storyline) give a guaranteed blue ilvl 800 gear piece with a small chance of upgrade to epic(even better chance with the T1 order hall upgrade).

Class hall sets can also be worked to. They can be upgrade upto ilvl 850 with lots of OR earned from treasures,dungeons,rares and world quest hubs
