Correct. You need the license in order for it to activate, even if you have the DLC. For example, I have a legit copy of Muramasa (US) on the latest update, but I can't use the pirated DLC with it.

Unlikely. Updating your game breaks the decrypted eboot. Although, assuming the dumped game is on the latest firmware, I have no idea what would happen.

I also own PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royal, and likewise, the DLC isn't very big. Each character is only 100kb.

Alright. VPK is pretty much a zip file. Here's what you do.


Open the vpk file with winrar then extract all of the files.

Now take the eboot.bin and the sce_sys folders and put them in a zip file.

Rename your newly created zip file to game.vpk.

Now transfer game.vpk to your vita and install it. It should create a new folder under ux0: app

Now transfer the rest of the files you extracted to that folder and play the game.

For reference, you can put the .vpk in a ux0:/pspemu save folder and transfer it over using CMA. If you don't have one there already, just grab one of the ePSP exploit save files and transfer those over first.

HOW TO TRANSFER YOUR GAMES TO THE VITA FASTER THAN FTP:

Put your Game.vpk in a folder named Game.

Put your Game folder in your PSP savedata folder.

Transfer it via QCMA.

Done. I've also heard of people renaming the file to mp4 and transfering via QCMA, which is basically the same thing but you'll have to rename the file in molecular shell. If you just transfer as a PSP savedata you don't have to rename anything and you can transfer everything unpacked inside a folder so it's much faster and easier.

There is a fix for the cart, but because updating my 3DS past a certain point broke it, I can't get the cart itself to load to the point of running the update. I did however just A9LH my 3DS.
