I was getting the 0xFFFFFF error when trying to install it without the assets (the big games files like textures, I don't have a big memcard)
If your .VPK is missing an essential folder (say, sce_sys or sce_modules) then it will fail to install

To be safe, just take the VPK and pack the sce_module, sce_sys, and any other "small" or seemingly important file in it, and zip the assets over later

I haven't been around since a couple days ago, what is this chinamen fix everyone's talking about? Is it just a sce_module folder that I can put in any game and sometimes it will work?

It's pretty easy to port a DR2 Vita save to PC. Not sure about vice versa but it should be as easy as cutting out the save you want from the PC port's save container and saving it as its own .bin, and then putting that .bin in your saves folder

Take a regular psp save data, doesn't matter what game, snag one from gamefaqs
Put it in your QCMA PSAVEDATA folder (there should be a folder with random numbers and letters, put it in there)
Put your game assets in there. Don't insert a .VPK, for some reason it deletes it whenever it's transferred, so use FTP to transfer the .VPK without assets
Go to your PSVita and copy over the psp save data
Go into the user/pspemu/savedata folder and copy the assets to the game folder
