All I have to do in a stream chat is mention I'm an /srg/ regular, and instantly, like a flick of the switch, people stop and pay attention to my words. From that point on, I become known as a dark, dangerous poster with an untold amount of cyber-weaponry at my disposal. People fear me, and I take full advantage of that fact.

Sometimes I wish I wasn't known across twitch as an ambassador of /srg/. Sometimes the pressure to uphold my reputation feels too great. But then I relax. I take deep breaths. And I remember how people freeze when I enter their stream chats. I remember how they grant me moderator privileges based on my name alone. The best and most famous speedrunner of all time is currently in the stage of transitioning. The thing about Narcissa that you guys don't appreciate is the fact that she doesn't whine or blame the world for everything and quit. Everyday she is taking steps towards redefining herself, which requires an extreme amount of work and willpower. Part of the human experience is learning from the past and improving on one's self. Narcissa is doing this, and I think that some of her views on speedrunning are correct. In some ways, she is transcending the banal speedrun by taking on multiple challenges in her playthroughs of TPHD. Of course deep down inside she is the same as she was before she began to transition, but our past experiences, accomplishments and milestones in our lives are ultimately what shape the person we are to this day and I can say confidently that your third fact is hogwash. Narci keeps all her previous accomplishments because Cosmo was a part of Narci. Transitioning does not mean becoming another person altogether.

No, this is on a backwards compatible PS3. It has faster loads than PS2, but the run wasn't pushed to its full potential since I found a new strat that saved over a minute in the run, so that's happening now, on the fastest way to play too. The PS4 release was PAL, and the loads basically match playing on a PS3. JP is the fastest version.

Yeah, it was pretty bizarre. Involves getting out a toy RC car and exploding it infront of the final boss. Does so much damage it skips cycles compared to the old method, and he's the only boss it effects this way. This also meant you could use the old method of attacking the final boss, on another boss in the run, saving some more time too. An epic find

Yeah, the reason no one really ran on PS3 with this game before is that you need to get a backwards compatible NTSC-J PS3. They can be quite hard to find & when you do find one they can be a bit expensive. I got a really good deal on mine though from someone clueless on Ebay.

Here's a chart that I kept around to make sure I was looking for the right JP PS3 (might help). You want one with hardware PS2 compatibility, not software as that's slow.

It might not be that hard to find an NTSC PS3 with backwards compatibility though.

I assume they'll be drug testing this fuck for amphetamines after his 72 hour marathon? Especially when Square Enix are getting Guinness involved (apparently).
