What's the best solo class?
I want to make something in jTos now that I managed to make it work, but my Japanese is too weak for now.
I'm Full Support Priest in Klai and it's decent for soloing, but it's something that requires communication at times so I guess I should seek out some other class

Why not Diev1 + Pardoner1

You get -20% cd, +10s harmful effect duration, and indulgentia. You also get increase magic defense which helps against the magic mobs and gives your team a bit of breathing room.

Alternatively you can just go Diev2 for World Tree which is more flexible to play around.

Priest3 doesn't offer much. Stone skin is only really useful in PvP. Krivis1 at R6 is also bad. Aukuras is pretty lackluster especially if you have other heals. Daino can be scrolled.

How does property defense work? Is it simply like physical+magic defense but only vs. that particular element, a flat reduction vs. that element, or is it percentile reduction?

Seems like they introduced a ton of anti-cold and dark items to counter elelocks but I'm not sure how useful +70 dark resist is when warlocks hit for thousands of damage with theurge.

Yes, everything was looking good in that direction. But then Rank8 came out and now every skills has like 7k base damage or higher. Even if you get 1200 atk from a weapon+STR, it'll be a minuscule portion of your damage. DEX will give you the accuracy to hit, evasion to not get damaged, and a chance to get +50% damage, which is more than you'd get from going STR.

Dethrone is 2 hits of 15k base damage. Do you think STR is relevant at all?
