Spell Striker isn't perfect, but because I usually want Dragodies for scales or to get Silent/Sage he comes in handy without wasting my normal. And he goes into Herald for quick negation if I don't have anything else set up. I don't think Silent is winmore because Buster dies to S/T very easily.

Yeah Dragon Ravine isn't bad, but more times than not you'll already have your resources in play because of Trade In, Melody, or Shrine.
You don't really need traps since you're Attack.dek 2.0. I mean they aren't bad, but you want to be imposing with your front row, with Gospel being your protection.
Felgrand Dragon build protects you from the extra deck if you set up first turn, even going second it hurts them if they aren't already set up to out your beaters.
Silvers cry isnt bad with White Ka, You can change that for shrine number 3 if you want thats up to you.
If you didnt already know the combo. You go into Dark Matter, Dumping Arkbrave and Irritum. and Ancient Stone to stop extra deck summoning on your Opps turn, unless they DH, Rai, or have a main deck over 2100.
Your third Maxx C can also be another veiler if you want, Up to you. You don't want to draw into the 3 one of dragons, but they can still be used for Melody or Trade-in, you mainly want Arkbrave and Irritum in grave the same turn. Felgrand is there as a gospel target for field or grave removal, in some situations you use arkbrave for this instead of irritum for extra deck locking.

They're consistent to begin with and Pend Sorc is a recurable searcher.
Pantheism is literally the life of the deck, without it the deck's poor consistency dropped even further, upstart is limited, Chicken Game is banned, you don't want to banish stuff with Desires.

On top of that, they lost 2 Ether and Stormforth, the means to interrupt your opponent in their turn and remove their monster. While searchable and recyclable, it's still a significant hit.

They're not dead, but I doubt they can stay in the competitive scene as a tier 1.

They were at their fullest power in DUEA Format, true, but they were never so strong in relation to everything else as they are right now. Beatrice was never a 3-of, and Cir at 1 barely hurts the deck with Scarm still at 3. Not to mention Farfa and Dante are still at 3 each, which are the deck's biggest assets at the moment. They are, at the moment, at their peak.

The issue with that is, with your extra Raccoons you could always search more Kirin with a Normal Summon. Now all Raccoon's good for, if you open Kirin or search it and draw another Bunbuku, is searching itself, and that's fucking worthless, the definition of empty advantage. It's also a horrendous scale. You could blow it up with a Metalfoe, but that applies to anything. 3 Raccoons is just a liability more than anything. And with no Monkeyboard and Pendulum Call preemptively hit just to cripple a potential engine, I really doubt Pendulums are coming back. Another victim to Tewart's fucked-up ideal of a TCG archetype meta where all the decks are boring and he's to blame for every part of it.

The only experience we have to dictate that for Blue-Eyes is the battered corpse of OCG BA, which isn't fair when they're much, much stronger here. And Kozmo losing 2 Dark Destroyer, while a pitiful hit, is still a lot worse for their BA matchup. Now they have to run Forerunner or Dark Eclipser for easy access to anything worthwhile and also over 2500 ATK to attack over Dante or Beatrice, let alone the other members of the R3NK catalog like Break Sword, and all the traps they run.

>Banish Pantheism to search 3 Tenacity, reveal it to search Return
>Activate Return, Normal Edea, summon Eidos etc.

>Add Pantheism to hand, search Ehther, send two Monarch S/Ts, one you want to have in your hand (Probably Stormforth or another Pantheism) and one you want to banish

Again, like I pointed out you aren't gaining that much with multiple Kirins either, so if you end up searching Kirin or drawing Kirin, it doesn't matter much for Bunbuku because it'll still have done its job in some form or another. While I also agree that Bun searching Bun isn't exactly a stellar play, acting like a deck like Metalfoe won't have options despite there being several OCG builds that use things like Break Sword and even Totem Bird just to get extra value out of multiple Bunbukus is a little ridiculous.

Did everyone already forget about the anon spamming OCG Pendulum mishmash builds that were still topping before they got pushed about in favor of Metalfoes? Look at this thing, it's got the same problems as TCG (except slightly worse with a Sorcerer limit) and multiple decks just like this one managed to top fine. Let's not keep underestimating just how versatile Pendulums really are because it gets really tiring to go through the same song and dance every banlist

I didn't get a chance to fit this point in, but those Pendulum mishmash decks also competed with relatively full powered Blue-Eyes, D/D/D (I say relatively because neither deck had Cupidity/Desires at the time since this was before TDIL but almost everything gained a boost with Desires, I just thought I'd make the point) and OCG BA (I also want to say that they still had Dante at 3 around that time but I'd need to check again and making this post and that will just take too long so I want to drive the point home quickly).

Like I stated previously, Pendulums at this point in time are simply too versatile to write off after a couple of significant hits after we've seen them bounce back endlessly

Ancient Gears are just trash from GX which they're trying to buff for no reason.
Only deck which this worked for was ABC with unions and they didn't even make Red-eyes good even with 3 sets of support.
