To this day, it baffles me how much better clownsuits look in 4U when you give up on Honed Blade and take S+1 instead. Even with C+2, you can get away with not having a single monkey piece and still have S+1.

Striker Lance just goes for pure offense so anything with Sharpness+2, Attack Up Large, or a compound with either of them. You could go elemental if you want I guess, Lance is still pretty fast. Striker style doesn't get the slow but triple hitting combo finisher that the new Lance normally sports but most of the Lancers here seem happy to drop it, making Striker Lance almost feel like it ought to be the Guild Lance since it almost returns to the older days of Lance better than Guild does.

Now if only it could give us back the ability to Counterattack after the third stab and to have I-frames on the Counterattack... Tri how I miss thee.

It really depends on how far you are. If you're in Low Rank, there's not much point to making too many sets of armor. High Rank basically has entirely better armor and much higher defense, so when you reach High Rank your Low Rank armor is outclassed pretty quickly.
In Low Rank, I'd say just worry about making sure you have enough defense that you dont have issues not dying, unless you have fun making various armor sets. Ultimately, do what you enjoy the most, but the most "efficient" use of your time and zenny is to wait until high rank to delve into making armors.

Master's Armor, it's Kokoto's equivalent to Yukumo's Toka Armor. The skills are more defense oriented, but it seems amazing for Striker style.

You have to go through a boatload of quests, but the easiest path is to unlock Coal Hearted(plenty of guides online for that), do 2 HR6 hyper monster quests, and then you'll unlock the quest for this armor design which is triple Rajang. The best part about the armor is almost all of it dyes(all of the clothing under the armor). Is it for TAs? Fuck no. But damn it, I like it.

Check the /mhg/ blacklist (which should be in the OP, dunno why it isn't). It's your choice whether or not you want to view their performance but here are some things to consider (I usually blacklist these shitters on sight)

1) They hunts in suboptimal gear (Cia hunts in shitty meme sets, Camilla hunts in full SW Narga with DB, total cringe)

2) Isn't at least HR 50 by now (plenty of Discord shitters have been carried by their Discord shitter friends. There's a good portion who haven't even unlocked HR yet.)

3) Taking too long in the Hub (that means they're too busy chatting in the Discord when they should be hunting, wasting other hunters' precious time)

Whoever does the OP needs to put the blacklist in it, or at least into the pastebin. People should know who are the troublemakers and who they'll get good quality hunts with.

Got any equipment suggestions for taking it on (I'm thinking of going full FOOTBALL along with a Verdant Blade), or possibly any strategies for taking it on? In before "Git gud" or other such varities.

I think I had close to ten characters by the time I got done playing Tri. Going through Low-Rank and progressing from scratch actually used to be fun in its own right, prior to P3rd.
