It had two translators. One was so bad that it got the person in charge of it fired (YukkuriS). The other was even worse and fled ship before MG could fire him (Batman). Both work at Sekai Project now.

It is more draining to read than the abuse being really heavy. Been reading though it and it seems everyone just throws silly insults at him and the MC just seems to just put up enough resistance to make them want to throw out more insults. The problem is that every girl seems to be doing the same in most scenes which makes it tedious to read as the amusement of it wears off quickly.

It never particularly bugged me because it just seemed like friends having a good time. I know me and my friends spent most of the time insulting each other. It's a different approach for a moege but it didn't bug me at all. I guess it really depends on your tolerance to these sorts of things.

And at least it makes the moments when they go full dere more special because you have that context of the beginning point in mind.

Might be my problem with it. I keep on thinking if it was me I would just give up and walk out the conversation after being insulted for 5+ min with no progress. I know it is meant to be more that it is friends insulting him, but it happens a bit too much, is too one sided and is drawn out way too much.
