Among the quests that are available on both OSRS and RS3 most of them make a whole lot more sense on OS since you play them the way they originally were meant to be played. While this does mean that you in some scenarios will have to bring additional tools with you due to the absence of toolbelts it does manage to get certain parts of some quests to make more sense. Rather than boring left click options where the user never actually knows what they ended up doing you interact with the environment by directly using items on whatever you need to use them on during the quest. Not to mention every single quest boss doesn't literally get two shot by basic abilities.

that's not how it works.
The stone doesn't instantly permanently power you up.
It's like radiation, if you're in proximity to elder artifacts slowly over time you turn into a god.

That might have more to do with the way guthix died vs how zaros died.
Sliske used magic through the Siphon, rather than the Siphon itself.
When zimzam fought autism man, both were in direct contact with the Siphon.
Same thing when guthix killed scargaroth with the Blade.
Plus guthix using a chunk of his power to make the WG and the fact that he was asleep probably didn't help.

Though they haven't really explained some of the mechanics of godhood really well.

During phase 3, it heals to full health continuously until I see the message
