I'm really far behind on everything. I've procrastinated a lot between having to do other things that have kept me from FFXIV, or things in FFXIV like a certain event that was exceptionally grindy.

I could get two Hyperconductives right now if I had Awoken weapons, but I'm only halfway on my ilvl 240 DRK relic, and I still need to finish MNK, BRD, and NIN for ARR relics.

The two Hyperconductives are probably going to be AST and WHM, then next it'll be MCH and either BLM or DRG. Then I'll come back for WAR and SCH, then the rest of the DPS. Just speaking of it and putting the grind into perspective is a bit sickening to be honest with you.

If you want to make your MT sit in tank stance longer before being able to sustain enough hate to hop into DPS stance, sure.

This statement is blatantly false though, as Smokescreen and Shadewalker do more than just aid the MT in initial threat establishment. It's also useful for picking up adds might-fight such as the Chimera in 5S (if you're having your OT handle it in Deliverance), the Straf dolls in 7S, the bots and Brute Justice in 8S, etc etc.

Ahh, I see. Well, it is understandable why that tank was kicked. No one should put up with that kind of stupid, especially when they pull out the "you don't pay my sub" card. People like that tank fail to realize that most people pay their own subs, and if a majority of them feel like someone or a minority is being a hinderance, it doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure out which side will win.
