I've gotten a few +5 Sharpness, Hearing, Normal Up, Tenderizer, Elemental, Fencing, Crit Element, Destroyer, and Blunt charms, all triple slot. I've also gotten Evasion +6 and Evade Dist +6, triple slotted as well. I've done a lot of coal runs, though. I unlocked at an embarrassingly low rank and am now pushing 100, all on the back of coal runs.

I really thought that Generations would have a ton of monsters, leading to insane variability in how you could build sets, plus R armor promotes variation

Instead a bunch of skills got cut or nerfed so that things like challenger+2 are no longer worth it at all, the deviant sets are almost all a bad idea because they just have a shitty skill thrown in when they could have a good one, and it's nearly impossible to get 6 skills on a set, let alone 5

It's really disappointing and I'm having a hard time coming up with a fun switch ax set that lets me play similarly to how I did while having fun in 4U that doesn't look stupid with its stupid fucking ponytail.

You're not looking at Autotracker from a utility point of view. Sure if it's a single hunt monster where you know where it will be. Paintballing is gets the job done.

But in multi monster hunts or in one with unstable environments, it helps you keep track of what zones they are in. More importantly, the flashing is a lot easier to see since a capturable monster flashes from red to white as opposed to pink to white. Plus the fact you can tell when a monster is placid, alert or aggressive is extremely helpful.

Although I'm applying my use of it from the days of Tri where you always had to have an eye on the mini map to watch out of Jho because when he appeared, he would ALWAYS bee-line for you.
