it bugs me as well. The "community" is also pretty shitty, but a lot of that I think is carryover feelings from shitposting on here (and honestly playing with anyone from here is normally a mistake) and the fact that any private server often becomes full of jaded tryhards, neets and/or autists escaping life, slavs, and professional world chat shitposters.
Elysium is ok so far but the NA pop is pretty miserable. Growing slowly and people are friendly but that's common for new servers. Still, population trumps most everything else in vanilla. Elysium could be the best server ever made but if there aren't enough NA players it really doesn't matter anyhow at 60 as there won't be enough groups for shit.
As it is I'm hopeful for crestfall but I really hesitate to be too "shilly" for anything at this point.
I don't think k2 is the worst thing in the world but I do find it odd that when crestfall talks about increasing difficulty it's considered cool, but anyone mentioning it for k2 is shouted down. But then again it could be confirmation bias and I may be a dumbdumb.

All realms are 7x except Lordaeron (1x), Blackrock & Warsong (Instant 80, PvP-only).

I play on and off on Icecrown, Blackrock and Frostwolf. The servers are good for PvP; spells work well and the population is high as fuck.

PvE: nah
PvP: Human racial is OP so tryhard arena players tend to roll ally. In battlegrounds all that matters is that you have a good premade going. According to the forums, horde even tends to win BGs more often than ally on Icecrown.

The guild was an extremely large portion of the general as a whole and Cobe/Senna/Ituh tried to get people to shape up for 25 man hardmodes but it just didn't happen. On 10 man you can carry a couple bads through most of the hardmodes but on 25 man you can't carry half a raid that doesn't bother even doing their rotation properly let alone avoid deadly mechanics. Senna scheduled Cata raids during <You>'s 25 mans and that was the final blow to the guild then he went on vacation and hasn't come back since. Both him and Cobe have been MIA since <You> died for the most part while I'm pretty sure that's the real Ituh in <Nihilum>.

You must be one of those really special fellows. Every class can end up in a situation where it can't win unless it uses consumables and/or engineering. The difference is, rogues aren't cucked by the astronomically high spell resist chance, so they can take on much higher levels and win.

Druid is okay to level to 10, decent from 10 to 20, and then it's pretty fun all the way to 60. You can tank 5 mans without a problem during the leveling path - just consider that your tanking overall is 1 to 1.5 levels worse than an equally geared warrior. You will get aggro MUCH faster than a warrior though, which is good.

At 60 you get to heal as well as tank 5 mans some more for helping the guild to get geared (as well as yourself). You can raid off tank and are wanted to main tank for properly scripted trick encounters, like Jin'do. Very rare though - you'll be healing nearly everywhere else.

Warrior sucks complete ass to level, and sucks complete ass to farm with UNTIL you get good 60 gear. No 2 ways about it. But then you are pretty happy once the gear happens.

Rogue is super fun to level, as long as you have green weapons like within 5 levels of you or better. You farm like a champ. Your DPS is very strong, and warriors aren't overtaking your damage until they are crazy l33t geared.

If you go warrior though, don't do what this faggot does on K2.

Everyone was praising Elysium for two fucking months straight.
How its going to be Nostalrius, but better. Now its the promised land. How we will all reroll there and play forever and raid until our hands fall off.

In the end we played for 2 days and quit. Crestfall will be the same fucking thing.

Also I just went to their forums, and sure enough they are full of autists going "holy paladin looking for guild" even though there isn't even a working alpha version of their emulator.

A druid is a swiss army knife and a lot of fun in pvp or leveling. In endgame pve you become a less-complex and plain worse healer who is nevertheless essential to bring along for a few unique tricks like combat res.

If you play a druid, you'll easily get a raid spot, never top the meters and never need to bid against more than two or three other people for your class gear. You may be bored. I don't raid sober.
