I've wiped entire teams of Bulldozers as Dragan, whom I bet is on the bottom of your heister tier list. I've been accused of hacking multiple times by players from the tightest crews ever. I am better than you.

There's a reason you're this mad at the game, and it really is very simple: You are a retard, you fucking suck, and you are unable to adapt. Idiots like you who aren't able to cover the outside of the bank for flankers shouldn't be allowed to ruin other people's heists. Maybe if you weren't fucking blind, you'd be able to react accordingly to the laser sights of snipers.

Sure, some things in the game need change, but everyone as laughing at you, the ultimate shitter, who dies preventable deaths and blames them on basic game mechanics.

Go fucking play Killing Floor or some shit.

Idea to help fix stealth: just simplify Thief's light/sound system.

You can have low light, normal light, and bright light; low light makes you harder to spot and reduces the distance guards spot you at, while bright light does the opposite. This also applies to bags, corpses, etc. So stashing bags in a shadowy alley is now viable.

For sound, specifically footsteps, just define three types of ground; soft (like dirt), hard (like concrete), and loud (like metal catwalks). These modify the sounds caused by your footsteps; sprinting on dirt doesn't cause much sound, but normal walking on a metal grate would.

If you want to be really complicated, add places where you can hide bags even in bright light; bushes, piles of trash bags, and so on.

This, plus designing stealth options for more heists and a few quality of life changes (moving dominated guards, being able to circumvent alarms on windows and such GLASS CUTTER WHEN) could make Payday 3 a decent stealth game.

Biggest problem with Death Wish is what I call the Watchdogs D1 Effect.
To make the game "harder" they just gave all the cops retarded accuracy values and extremely fast lock-on.
The result of this is a massive difficulty gap of sorts: The game barely gets any harder in closed spaces, but any open space becomes your worst fucking nightmare because every single cop that has line of sight to you from across the map WILL mince you alive with their laser accuracy.
This shifts your survival into a new metagame: "Always be in the LoS of as little cops as possible". In other words: The only way to play DW in any open map or open map segment is to camp.

Cop accuracy never changes between difficulties I think. Damage goes up, sure, but not accuracy. Because cops don't have spread like we do, they do dicerolls and can hit you 100m away with their virtually no damage falloff if it's a success.

Also WD Day 1 has a stack of broncos at the start. I go out of my way to run into the street to clean them all out so that they can't down me or anyone else.

I only mention it because the GOTY edition on Steam only exists because it came out with the consoles' Crimewave edition.

This is probably why OVK never updated the GOTY edition for 2015 because they want to synchronise DLC packs with the console version for some reason despite the fact that they're going 485 days with no updates for the consoles.

Did you know that the consoles still don't have voice chat? They have to awkwardly type on the on-screen keyboard or use those USB controller keyboard things.

There is no PD3.

OVK will just keep extending support for PD2 like they have the past three times because a PD3 would imply that the Starbreeze+OVK devs wlil have to make a new game and then port all the old heists...again. PD2 is lasting at least until end of 2017 so if you're going to hold out for PD3, you'll be waiting for a long, long time.

A lot of the meta weapons are actually base game and free community weapons (because DLC weapons being good means it's p2w so they go out of their way to shitcan them at the first sign of pubs happily using them) so you don't need that many DLCs to do shit. The usual list is like courier mods, shotgun ammo types, and maybe a couple others. Try out the free guns, see if you like them or not, and maybe just get a GOTY edition at best since that should cover everything up to, but probably not including, The Bomb DLCs.

The game is also ridiculously easier than it was at launch so once you relearn the game mechanics and git gud, you shouldn't have a hard time even with DWs. And if you need help, give a holler here or on the Steam chat and see if there's anyone who isn't afk who would be willing to help.

Right now Alesso is shit because of the circular saw duplication bug preventing you from ever completing the heist solo because you can't pick up any past 3, but it's an okay heist loud. It just takes forever to grab the C4 and pubs run around not understanding what to do for most of the heist which isn't necessarily their fault (except the pyro part, fuck them if they fuck it up for you). Just don't do Alesso in stealth. In fact, you don't need to do Alesso in stealth for ANY achievement so you can easily skip it forever.

And yes, Car Shop is worse.

It's one of those heists where you can just set up somewhere and just be a comfy cop shooter for 40+ minutes while pubs run around ignoring objectives.
