I've been using HH since LR, and I switched between Narga and Tigrex depending on what I was hunting.
All I use nowadays is the Akantor Dark Melody, though you need to dedicate a set to it.
If you're not gonna use the Akantor Horn, any general blademaster set will work.
Maestro is nice, but isn't as necessary as in previous games since double notes are a thing now.

Calculator doesn't have the HH songs, but Akantor's is +15% while Tiggy's is +20%, so that makes it ~435 vs ~390, which is still a pretty sizeable gap.

The double metal raths actually gave me a lot of trouble. Even with smoke bombs, the other would notice me. And flash bombs don't work while it's smoked either so it's a pain in the ass when trying to deal with Silver first. And when the fence is on cooldown and they're both after you, it's fucking hell. Swax and GS-user here who's been wanting to expand my portfolio and learn hammers - what are some good hammers that don't look like ass? I can't stand how Spiked Glory or the Hellblade hammer look so I'm looking for something that suits me aesthetic without being literal garbage statwise. Trouble is, not having used hammers I dunno what stats I should be looking for.

So far I'm fond of the Iron Devil, Iron Devil's Soul, Overclocker, Novagio Demolisher, Plesioth Breaker, Burning Crusher, Anchor Crusher, and maybe the sabage jho hammer?

And maybe the War Mace or War Basher if Iron Devil isnt too viable.

Are any of those worth picking up and using? Most seem to have decent attack and such.

Any must-have hammer skills besides Fast Charge? My GS set has it and Bludgeoning, but the Crit Draw it also packs feels wasted on hammers. Is it just the standard set of DPS skills?

So for those here who have been doing bombing with sleep SnS

What's the optimal way of triggering the bombs so that the boosted damage gets the monster and not the damage from some stone or something? Don't want to wake it up with a paintball either
